The Department hosts a leadingcomprehensive epilepsy service providing all aspects of care for people with epilepsy from first seizure clinics to epilepsy surgeryevaluations.


We currently have 4 consultant neurologists. The post will be anew5thpost. We are supported by 4 epilepsy specialist nurses (with plans agreed to increase to 6) and work with a multidisciplinary team including Consultants with specialist interests in epilepsy in Neurosurgery, Neuropsychiatry, Neuropsychology and Neuroradiology.


We have 4 dedicated video telemetry beds for pre-surgical evaluationfor VNS andresectivesurgeryand haveaccess to all necessary investigations including 3T MRI, fMRI,PET,MEG,SPECT andstereoEEGtechniques.We were the first UK centre to provide roboticstereoEEGand currently provide approximately 100 surgical work ups per year including 10-20stereoEEGs.


The successful candidate will take leadership responsibility for the provision of services to patients with epilepsy and LearningDisability and for the provision of specialist drug services such as Cannabidiol and Fenfluramine to thesouth west.


The post holder will have the opportunity to report their ownvideoEEGs(if suitably experienced) with dedicated EEG reporting time although alternate provision for neurophysiology support may be possible if not.


Communications and Relationships:
The post holder will be expected to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues. Responsibility for Patient Care:

You will dispense prescriptions and stock items, whilst supervising assistants when in the dispensary. • To provide a medicines optimisation services to the prison.
• To provide a medicines administration service to offenders at the medicines administration times as part of a 7 day per week rota.
• To undertake medicines reconciliation for prisoners admitted to the prison.
• To supervise assistants, when in the dispensary in providing dispensing services.
• To be an accredited checking technician providing final dispensing checks or medicines optimisation qualification

Here at The Castle School Education Trust (CSET) we are on a journey to making each of our nine schools a great school. We are a progressive and agile workforce looking for a motivated and efficient Finance Assistant to join our committed finance team and support Downend School, Westerleigh Road, Downend, BS16 6XA which is easily commutable from Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and South Wales. This is a temporary term time role to cover maternity leave with some additional weeks in the school holidays, so you will need to be able to commit to working 35 hours, 41 weeks of the year. We also offer an attractive defined benefit local pension scheme. You will be based from the school but there is flexibility to be able to work from home when needed; you will sometimes be expected to attend team meetings in the CSET Partnership offices.
The Person It is essential that you can prioritise your workload whilst working unsupervised and be open to supporting other areas of the finance team. You will be personable and able to build and maintain relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders.
The Role Reporting to one of our Finance Business Partners, you will be providing administrative and transactional support to the finance team and schools. This will include: raising purchase orders and processing purchase invoices liaising with school staff to help them to manage their budgets assisting parents with access to and issues with the online payment system raising sales invoices and ensuring good credit control bank reconciliations
