As maintenance specialist, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of building maintenance, engineering infrastructure and systems and equipment. To undertake clinical and management responsibility for the nurses and recovery workers in Lambeth Community Drug and Alcohol Service and have an operational overview on the day to day running of the service. The Team Leader will as part of a senior management team oversee the on-going development of recovery focused and evidence based interventions in order to meet the needs of a group of service users with multiple complex physical, psychological and social needs across Lambeth. Lambeth Drug and Alcohol Service is part of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM), within the Addictions Clinical Academic Group. The Trust provides recognised high quality learning and development opportunities as well as offering the chance to be involved in research projects through the Institute of Psychiatry and globally respected Addictions Department.

This is a consortium partnership comprised of We Are With You, Human Kind, Phoenix Futures and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) with SLaM being the lead agency in this model. This is a cross borough contract since 1stApril 2010 with shared leadership and specialist roles as well as local core services.

Lambeth Consortium provide an excellent and first class range of drug and alcohol treatment options to residents of Lambeth Borough. Our services are busy and dynamic, with a strong recovery focus. We currently operate 2 sites across Lambeth plus various satellites including in primary care. We in-reach to local hospitals, offer street outreach, and work closely with local stakeholders including social care and mental health. We also have a comprehensive online offer.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide strong and decisive leadership and management of all staff within Lambeth. To manage the staff team and all day-to-day issues of the service. To take the lead role in the induction, team building and retention of staff. To deputise at designated times in the absence of the Borough Lead.
2. To ensure regular clinical and line management supervision, appraisal (personal development plans) and teaching of staff across the team to ensure high standard of client care. To identify and support opportunities for staff development and training, and to support this aim use role modelling to motivate and educate the team. To facilitate and manage change whilst maintaining a high quality effective service.
3. To take responsibility for the management of a defined caseload of clients with complex needs and facilitation of groups or other elements of front line service delivery where required. The finance manager is responsible for all financial and management accounting functions of Team Domenica. The post holder will be recognised as the organisation’s finance expert by their peers.


The Finance Manager’s responsibility is to ensure that the financial systems and information we have supports the trustees and staff to make informed decisions and that we remain compliant with all relevant regulations and donor restrictions. They will be assisted in this by a part-time bookkeeper.



CONTRACT DETAILS

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Work with the Co-CEO to ensure efficient, modern financial management and planning systems, ensure that financial reports effectively inform business development and fundraising strategies and that the organisation demonstrates value for money across all activities and services.

Work with other members of SMT to improve their knowledge of the financial risks and opportunities for Team Domenica, mentoring them to develop a commercial attitude to their work.

Responsibility for all month end processes resulting in monthly Management Accounts reporting.

Oversee the timely operation and upkeep of accounting systems in accordance with financial procedures. We use Xero accounting software, and are in the process of bringing our (monthly) payroll in-house.

Prepare key account reconciliations and review those carried out by the Finance Officer to ensure completeness. This includes credit control with local authorities and others.

Review and analyse financial reports, with the manager, on performance against budget, to inform management decisions and strategic planning processes.

Prepare information for our Funders on the projects spend and work with the Fundraising team to present this in a meaningful way.

With the bookkeeper support the CEOs and Trustees to ensure efficient preparation of the annual financial accounts and budget, and the effective production of financial information to support funding bids, tenders and the generation of new income.

Work with the auditors to ensure that the annual audit is conducted in a timely manner.

The post holder will provide operational support, the maintenance and delivery of all activities relating to grounds and garden across the Trust. The post-holder will assist in the planning of seasonal maintenance tasks whilst overseeing the daily tasks of the Grounds and Gardens team. CASCAID (HIV Liaison Service) is a small multi-disciplinary team, comprising consultant psychiatrist, mental health nursing staff, a social worker, psychologists, and an administrator. The service assists both mental health services and HIV services to support people who are living with HIV and a significant mental health problem.

We provide liaison, assessment and treatment and short to medium term psychological work for people whose mental health problems are related to living with HIV.

Our service covers the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and Croydon. Our approach is largely bio-psycho-social. We embrace diversity and tackle stigma.

About our locations

We currently have an office base at Reay House, Lambeth Hospital (zone 2) but see people in outpatient spaces across Lambeth, Southwark , Lewisham and Croydon, whether that be at their HIV treatment centre, or a SLaM outpatient location. When required, home visits are also be organised. We offer either face-to-face or online appointments.

Maudsley Hospital (headquarters)
Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2). Our office base will move to the Maudsley Hospital some time in 2024.

Key Responsibilities:



Management of Care and Practice
• Ensure that all clinical practice is developed using up to date evidence base, ensuring that all staff have the appropriate skill base and supporting mechanisms to access training to work with the service user group.
• To provide assessment, care and treatment to clients referred to HIV treatment centres
• Oversee a service user's care pathway, utilising available resources and Patient Journey framework and lead the team in its implementation.
• Ensure systems are in place to support user and carer-centred involvement in the planning and provision of care.
• Ensure that staff receive regular supervision and appraisal, and are offered essential and developmental training in accordance with their personal development plans, and the needs of the service.

Management of Financial and Material Resources
• Ensure team finances are managed within allocated budget, including recruitment of staff.
• All absences, bank and agency are managed within budget and Trust guidelines.
• Communicate to all staff how they can contribute to the efficient management of financial and material resources.
• Identify and deal with cost pressures which may have an impact on the financial expenditure of the team. The post-holder will be expected to notify any such situations to the service manager if they cannot be dealt with at a local level.

Management of Clinical Standards
• Set, monitor and evaluate overall standards of care and practice in the team in liaison with General Manager, Professional Advisors, and other agencies.
• Ensure that all practices and interactions in the team are based on the preservation and respect of service users’ dignity, individual and cultural identity, wishes (whenever possible) and are in accordance with the maintenance of individuals’ independence.

SCFT Healthy Child Programme (HCP) is recruiting a Clinical Service Manager to provide leadership and support to our service delivery in Brighton and Hove.
