This position require flexibility working Monday -Friday between 4-5 days based on the need of the service excluding bank holiday.

• To meet & greet patient on arrival, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment within the Outpatient Department.
• To set up and prepare clinics.
• To check patient’s vital signs and document prior to consultations
• To assist and chaperone clinicians/patients in clinics.
• To ensure safety is maintained and patient experience is positive by treating all patients, relatives and colleagues with respect.
• To ensure patients and their relatives/carers understand the outcome of consultations/Treatment and progress and discharge plan after care.
• To support the Manager and Outpatient Team.

About this Opportunity

This role sits within a small Team that specialises in ensuring we deliver change across the business in a safe, compliant and efficient way. Your mission will be to manage the Tusker ISO audit process and lead all activities required to maintaining these certifications. In addition, you will be required to provide wider business support and subject matter expertise across various risk and compliance topics alongside the Compliance and Data Protection Manager.

The role will include policy creation, leading internal process audits, training staff and continuously improving our management systems to enable us to retain our required ISO certification, in conjunction with LBG. • Manage B2B campaigns online and offline from initial planning through to execution

The Department of Cellular Pathology is based at Hemel Hempstead Hospital. This post provides excellent opportunities to gain valuable experience in the following areas of histopathology: Urological pathology, Breast pathology, Gynae pathology, Gastrointestinal pathology, Dermatopathology and Cytopathology.

The appointee will support the dissection and reporting of diagnostic Histopathology and Cytopathology specimens.

Support for attending relevant courses to achieve educational goals.

Clinical work to be undertaken under the supervision of Consultant Histopathologists.

Specimen dissection and reporting cases under supervision will be the main role of the successful applicant.
