• Provides project leadership in corporate financial systems related projects. Analyzes the financial impact, cost savings, and improved efficiency and effectiveness of on-going and proposed maintenance and security projects, and presents findings and recommendations.

• Provides advice and counsel to all FDIC Divisions and Offices and senior management officials on specific cases and matters. Provides opinions in adversarial proceedings where legal questions posed are of a complex or sensitive nature.
• Provides Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) consultation on specific cases and matters, including contractual, professional liability, commercial, regulatory, liquidation and outside counsel and mediators.
• Designs organizational conflict management systems for all FDIC Divisions and Offices to prevent or manage conflict.
• Researches, monitors and reviews ADR cases, statutes and regulations to keep the FDIC current in its understanding and application of applicable ADR law.

Underwrite an Ocean Marine book of business.  Job entails marketing, analyzing risks along with setting terms and conditions of a contract.  An underwriter is expected to produce business and make an underwriting profit for the company.

• Marketing, producing accounts, understanding Ocean Marine exposures, primarily Hull and Liability, knowing how to price account and the policy forms to use.  The underwriter must make sure he writes his business within the reinsurance guidelines.  The goal is to write a growing profitable book of business.

• Expected to travel for marketing as required

• Must have a strong working relationship with the broker market in the West Coast USA region.

• Must understand the Lines of business, forms and pricing the exposures written.

• Must be able to work as a team member, including the USA Marine Team in NY.  Communication skills are needed.

• Must be disciplined and conservative to maintain an underwriting standard of writing quality business at a profitable level.

Salary Range:

Assist in the administration and deployment of an enterprise-wide Third Party Management Program. Ø    Receive, investigate and distribute complaints to Business Controls, Private Bank Legal Counsel and trust officers.  Participate in complaint resolution and drafting responses to clients.
Ø    Review legal documents including contracts, trust agreements, wills and non-judicial settlement agreements, and serve as liaison to Private Bank Legal Counsel if next level review is needed.

Ø    Collaborate with the Personal Trust line of business, Product Management, Risk, Compliance and Training to champion the implementation of various initiatives and ensure that all trust professionals have a consistent understanding of IM&T policies and procedures.
Ø    Design, implement and present annual fiduciary training sessions for all trust officers and specialists, and coordinate those programs with product manager and senior leadership.
Ø    Manage, oversee and monitor risk within the business case exception process.
Ø    Assist local Trust officers in resolving Compliance, Audit and regulatory exceptions.
Ø    Partner with Private Bank Legal Counsel (and external counsel, when necessary) to draft protective documentation and to manage threats and litigation.
Ø    Develop and implement a Resource Officer program to provide 1) expertise to trust officers in specific aspects of fiduciary administration, 2) development opportunities for program participants, and 3) a path and proving ground for potential ,future Regional Fiduciary Executives.
