Base: Crawley HQ or Medway will be your base however, hybrid working will be offered after successful training is completed onsite

Our team and role:
The South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within our IBIS Team. Our team enable our front-line staff to access Do Not Attempt Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation documents (DNACPR) and Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment documents (ReSPECT) for our most vulnerable and complex patients.
You will also facilitate our History Marking process within the Trust, to ensure our staff are made aware of risks regarding violence and aggression. The successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time as we transition through some key changes, this presents a great opportunity for someone who is adaptable and flexible as your responsibilities will expand over the next few months.
What will you be responsible for:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks in relation to the management of patient care plans and records, including but not limited to the following:
• Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system
• Managing administrative tasks within the department as required
• Communicating with external HCPs who have made a PSI request to obtain further patient information as required.
• Managing the department inbox in a timely manner
• Uploading written patient specific instructions onto our systems and placing markers on our dispatch system

What you will need:
• Strong administration skills and is competent in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Experience taking minutes in meetings
• An empathetic and caring approach
• A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Ideally you will have experience in a healthcare environment or a passion to work in healthcare
