The ECG Associate Practitioner role is a foundation clinical role within our healthcare science department and as such the post holder will be expected to be using foundation scientific skills and knowledge to underpin and develop their work. Clinical work will be carried out directly with patients in purpose built dedicated ECG rooms. The post holder will perform, analyse, interpret and compare simple foundation investigative and clinical options, received in routine and occasionally in non routine ways eg ECG Tests on wards and outpatients. The post holder can expect to be following local proformas, workflows and guidelines for patient management, acquired through formal inhouse training. Work will need to be prioritised and escalated in line with department guidance. The post holder will be expected to make simple foundation judgements, involving basic facts or situations that impact on patients. They will be expected to communicate and work with a multidisciplinary professional team, assist ongoing research projects, and contribute to the educational needs of the ECG team and other professions and participate in the Trust training within the scope of the ECG Team. The post holder will be expected to maintain the patient at the centre of all their decision making processes. They will need to behave with integrity, honesty and probity, with good scientific practice as their simple foundation, as well as conforming to all of the NHS constitution pledges In addition to clinical work, the post holder will be expected to assist with other responsibilities within the service, such as stock management, helping with training and working with the rota staff to ensure ECG services are covered, as well as attending departmental meetings. A flexible and team player approach would be an advantage. The post holder will have opportunities for personal development and training for the post and will be expected to engage fully with the inhouse competences and training program. We are seeking passionate Band 6s qualified in specialty neonatal nurses to join our NICU team at CUH to deliver excellence in neonatal care. You will develop and maintain clinical, leadership and management skills in a highly supportive senior team structure working across the ITU, HDU and SCBU clinical areas.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is one of three tertiary centres for the Eastern Neonatal Network and part of the East of England Neonatal ODN. The unit admits babies requiring tertiary care including surgery and neurosurgery. This modern unit is part of the Perinatal Centre in The Rosie Hospital.

You will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to intensive care, high dependency and special care neonates without direct supervision in any situation. Assess care needs, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care. Participate in the supervision, mentorship and appraisal of pre and post registration staff. Regularly co-ordinate the management of the unit. Coordinate the management of special care, high dependency or intensive care room. Demonstrate leadership ability.

CUH is looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join the Procurement Team to support as Distribution Assistants.

The Distribution Team are responsible for the correct and accurate delivery of orders to the corresponding location point. You will assist the distribution Team Leader and Procurement Goods-In Supervisor in providing an efficient delivery/collection service to all Clinical and Administrative areas of the hospital.

We are particularly interested in those candidates that have a B1 option on the driving licence as the role will involve some use of Luton vans and the use of electric motorised tugs, other powered and non-powered moving equipment. You will be required to take part in duties that require moderate to heavy manual handling activities that will include the pushing and pulling of heavy trolleys and cages throughout the working day.

This role is generally Monday - Friday, covering an 8:00 - 18:00 service however, we run a 24/7 service and you may be required to change times to suit the service needs and demands. You will be required to work around a Rota covering a range of three shift patterns.

Those interested only interested in a Bank position will also be considered.

This is a very important role within the Trust and you will be providing a key service to the Trust, so that the rest of the staff can continue to provide the patient care.

• Correct and accurate delivery of orders to the corresponding location point.
• Keeping the zones and the PGI area cleared and organised is essential. Health and Safety is also essential and must be followed at all times.
• Learning to drive an Electric Vehicle called a tug, this is to enable the delivery of goods in cages and the linen for the Trust. Linen needs to be done every day first thing in the morning by all team members then on a rota system for the afternoons, weekends and all Bank Holidays.
• This is very much a manual handling post with the daily moving of cages and larger, heavy items onto a flatbed for delivery. This is a very important role within the Trust and you will be providing a key service to the Trust, so that the rest of the staff can continue to provide the patient care.

Shift Pattern falls into the following:

Pattern 1 – 07:00 to 15:00 – Sunday to Thursday
Pattern 2 – 07:00 to 15:00 – Tuesday to Saturday

If you prefer to work weekends as standard with 2 weekdays off (Monday / Tuesday off or Thursday / Friday), this is available.

Bank Holidays are classified as normal working days.

We are looking to recruit a Fast Responder with a friendly and positive “can do” attitude, to join our team of Maintenance Assistants.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Radiographic Department Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team at Cambridge Breast Unit. The service delivers both breast screening and symptomatic mammography. We perform a range of examinations and interventional procedures such as ultrasound core biopsies.

As a Radiographic Department Assistant in the Cambridge Breast Unit, you will be part of a dedicated team providing a high-quality patient-centred breast service. You will be required to assist in ultrasound examinations for the cancer pathway referrals and prepare for the Cambridgeshire and Huntingdon Breast Screening service to assist in a smooth delivery of this service.

The Cambridge Eating Disorder Service (AEDS) is part of the Adult and Specialist directorate within Cambridge and Peterborough Foundation Trust. It offers treatment for patients with moderate to severe eating disorders, registered with GP practices within Cambridgeshire.

To support and enhance the professional psychological care of Eating Disorder clients with the Cambridge Community Eating Disorder Service, across all sectors of care assisting psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the overall framework of the Team’s policies and procedures.

The post-holder will assist in clinically-related administration, conducting audits, collection of data and statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.

1. To assist protocol-based psychological assessments of clients applying psychological tests, including, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client’s care.
