Are you an experienced Finance Professional that can help us make a difference?

We are currently seeking two Finance Business Partners to join our Service Charges team on a temporary basis.

We have one fixed term contract available until 31st October 24 and another until 31st December 24.

This is the perfect time to join us on our transformation journey to provide a truly modern finance function, helping to support our ambition to build more homes and invest in our existing properties.

As we undertake exciting transformation projects, we need your expertise to assist in the delivery of the Service Charge accounting process and ensure the accurate setting of service charges in alignment with group policies.

This role is dynamic and involves overseeing the team of Assistant Accountants and Finance Assistants to provide financial and management accounting information to the Group. You will work closely with Housing Operations to provide financial accounting information to residents and help shape policy in this area.

In addition you will be pivotal in supporting and assisting budget holders in achieving value for money.

Some of the things we are looking for:

A Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years’ experience, including a minimum of 1 years at a team leader level or equivalent
Experience in service charges or accounting in a large and complex organisation or a regulated organisation with substantial budgets
Experience of leading and supporting a finance team
Experience of completing primary accounting statements
Experience of developing and delivering an excellent customer driven service to differing audiences and stakeholders
Good knowledge and understanding of Service Charges legislation would be desirable
While this role is home-based, occasional travel to our Group Offices in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, or Central Park, Worcester, will be required. Monthly team meetings and infrequent travel requirements will be reimbursed in accordance with our current policy and Inland Revenue mileage rates.
