• Work independently creating unique and complex designs and drawings for aircraft T-2 modifications requiring a great deal of initiative and research to complete while maintaining a high level of precision and accuracy.

The primary purpose of this position is: To Serve as an expert computer/network systems engineer for the functional area of airborne and terrestrial network engineering and the integration of those networks and systems onto the Air Force Network. This position is responsible for engineering, integration and technical evaluation of communications and Information Technology (IT) solutions for use by the operational Air Force and other DoD agencies in support of the warfighter, which includes the 17 most senior US leaders up to and including the President of the US (POTUS). Performs integration engineering and evaluation of a vast array of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) network and infrastructure products for Air Force users in the airborne and terrestrial networking environment.

DUTIES:

• Serves as a Computer Engineer expert conducting authoritative engineering design, evaluation, and security assessments of airborne and/or terrestrial networks, and IT systems.
• Develops original and creative airborne and/or terrestrial communications and IT network/systems documentation products used by Air Force personnel.
• Provides expert airborne and/or terrestrial networks engineering to include: managerial, procedural, and policy guidance.

• Performs Healthcare Planning/Design Management - The position determines the requirements for healthcare projects in relation to the needs of the Healthcare System, inclusive of the parent site, as well as off-site locations under the auspice of the Healthcare System, whether VA owned or leased. Project needs are determined for the organization down to the department level based on a broad array of guidelines, standards, regulatory requirements and mission priorities. The position evaluates how to accomplish the requirements of the project and determines the associated risks necessary to complete the construction within the healthcare facility and identify ways to mitigate project risk. A unique task of a Healthcare Engineer during the construction phase of a project is to minimize the impact to patient care operations, and in many cases, to ensure patients are able to continue to be cared for in a safe and secure manner due to the inability for the medical center to stop seeing patients during the construction phase of a project The position is responsible for determining what temporary means and methods are necessary to be executed to reduce any risk of danger to patients or staff while a standard of medical care is met for all patients. A detailed knowledge of healthcare operations is required to include how utilities and services support healthcare operations for each type of care provided.
• Manages Healthcare Design and Construction Administration - The position uses independent seasoned engineering judgment in evaluating and performing scheduling and layout of operations, inspection, and surveillance of materials, methods, and equipment used in construction. Responsible for reviewing contractor submittals, contractor change order requests, assuring project compliance with drawings and specifications, administering A/E and VA Headquarters review processes, assuring safety practices, and making sound engineering recommendations to appropriate leadership for action. Coordinating and overseeing work in a healthcare environment requires the incumbent to have knowledge of complex medical systems and is responsible to coordinate work while keeping patients safe and the medical facility operational.
• Performs Healthcare Construction Management and Post Project Activities - The position provides direction and guidance to the contractor tor construction within the facility. Provides approvals on means and methods performance of work and how it is conducted within a medical environment to ensure impacts of the construction does not impact patient care operation or provides a risk to patients or staff. The position provides training and guidance to the contractor to improve the contractor's ability to work within the medical facility requirements and confinements to better perform the scope of work. Daily discussions and safety reviews are conducted by the incumbent to ensure the contractor is working within the medical center's difficult environment and requirements to minimize any risk of danger to patients and staff. This training and guidance provided to the contractor working within the medical facility environment often involves Infection Controls measures to be followed during construction, fire safety, dust mitigation, noise mitigation, vibration mitigation, and any other possible impact to patient care that could be caused by the construction progress of the project.
• Medical Infrastructure Planning - The position assists on the medical center construction projects, space functional changes, and associated planning with respect to medical technologies and medical-related technologies. This includes site preparation for medical equipment, station level projects, non-recurring maintenance projects, and minor construction project designs. ROLE:

A*Star-IME is currently working on establishing a hybrid fabrication platform for 150mm and 200mm Silicon Carbide (SiC) power MOSFETs as a new pillar on Singapore"s Future of Microlectronics in wide-bandgap. The main objective of this SiC RnD program is to advance 200mm SiC technologies in various areas, such as epitaxy, device design, process integration & fabrication, and power module packaging. The ultimate aim is to drive disruptive innovations in power device research, specifically focusing on >1.7KV power MOSFETs. These innovations will have significant applications in enhancing automotive technologies, vehicle electrification, safety measures, sustainable energy grids, data centers, and industrial & aerospace automation. Key aspects for this role to be successful include the development and integration of several process modules, such as gate oxidation, implantation, implant activation, layout design verification, lithography, and ohmic contact formation. We are actively looking for individuals with extensive industry experience in device physics and process integration to join our team. The candidate will contribute to process integration, E-test and module process related data analysis, yield enhancement, and device physics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead develop process technology for SiC power MOSFETs and ensure it meets the requirements for prototyping manufacturing

• Collaborate with advanced process module development team to establish a process flow for fabricating specific MOS devices

• Responsible to develop and improve test structures that enable fast and rigorous characterization of process

• Accountable to improve device performance and yield through the design, execution, and analysis of experiments for each specific device and product

As part of IME Integrated Circuit Design and System Department, we are seeking a candidate with relevant experience in analog integrated circuit design. This candidate will contribute to developing analog circuit blocks e.g. low-power operational amplifiers, voltage/current references, and voltage regulators based on thorough topology analysis. This candidate will work closely with other team members for the circuit design, test verification, as well as system integration and validation for a broad range of innovative sensor systems.

As an Equipment Engineer, you will own all assigned toolsets. The preferred candidate can troubleshoot difficult and poorly defined problems related to mechanics, electronics, and processes using tool knowledge/experience, SPC, schematics, and other available resources. The candidate will collaborate extensively with the area maintenance team and process engineering. Some collaboration will be with tool vendors, other area engineers/managers, procurement, and production.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and management of 200MM and 300MM Semiconductor processing equipment in Support of Main Stream Semiconductor Processes and Advanced Packaging processes. Highly desirable for a candidate to have a background in at least one of the following areas: Photolithography, PVD and CVD Thin Films, Dry Etch, Wet Etch /Wafer Clean, Diffusion, Bond, Electroplate (ECD), CMP, or Metrology (some areas may be combined).
• Work with process engineering to drive root-cause corrective actions for equipment failures, implement permanent solutions, and eliminate chronic and long-term down events.
