• Support Project Manager in project management for industrial park and industrial asset developments in the South-east Asian Region to ensure works are completed within budget, on schedule and of good quality

YOUR ROLE:

The Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer will maintain and support an on-premises cloud infrastructure and apply DevOps practices and solutions. The person will also implement cloud-related and DevOps technologies such as AWS/Puppet/Chef/Elk/Azure/Openstack. The successful candidate will be supported to achieve RCT registration if they do not already hold it. The post-holder would be expected to support all team members achieve RCT registration within 3 years.

- Regular liaison with designers to ensure designs are efficient and safe to build
- Regular contact with the client to progressively assure designs, including participation in IDC/IDRs
- Review submissions for quality, sufficiency, and adherence to relevant standards.
- Approval of detailed construction methodologies produced by the project teams e.g. WPP / TBS / RA’s
- Approval of inspection and test plans produced by the project teams
- Assist team members CEM / QS / PM as required with engineering input
- Attend site as required to liaise with Site Managers and Engineers
- Act as the temporary works coordinator
- Excellent interpersonal skills and assertive when required to ensure timeous delivery
- Ensure Quality benchmarks are maintained at a high standard

Who we are looking for

- BEng or MEng
- Strong experience working on rail projects.
- Sound technical knowledge relating to construction and structures and/or geotechnics and/or stations.
- In depth knowledge of NR/L2/RSE/02009 and NR/L2/CIV/003
- Previous CRE Construction approved or experience at similar level in another sector
- Experience managing design development
- Temporary Works Coordinator qualification & experience, with detailed knowledge of BS5975:2019
- Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other design based software such as AutoCad
- AP or OTP Single Lift Planner would also be desirable qualifications but not essential.
- We are also interest to hear from candidates currently working for design consultancies with strong rail experience and the aptitude to mentored into the Construction CRE role.

Technical / Adminstrative Duties

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in ACMV Project design and build for various type of buildings, including cleanroom and bio-lab projects.
• Documenting and certificating all work carried out to meet our contractual and statutory obligations
• Identifying and resolving remedial requirements on all systems
• Quoting and undertaking project work as required by the client

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or Equivalent;
• Experience in ACMV / Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Project and Maintenance work.
• Experience in both industrial and commercial air-cons
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Possess good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
