• Degree/ Master in Engineering, Physics, Materials or equivalent

• Experience in tooling-up existing machine for new optical devices
• Clear and effective written and communication skill

Description

• Work closely with external vendor and internal team to deliver active alignment (or test) process for new optical module in engineering phase (small quantity)
• Establish process and metrics
• Conduct process and machine bring up
• Fine tune and sustain operation in engineering phase
• Conduct post-build follow-up such as FACA (failure analysis and corrective action) on yield loss, process improvement and etc.

You will be leading a team of engineers responsible for delivering strategic programs and initiatives for Apple. Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience, including 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• 5+ years of demonstrable experience building and maintaining large-scale, distributed integration solutions.
• Knowledge in middleware technologies like Software AG webMethods or Mulesoft.
• Strong expertise in Supply Chain domain with hands on experience designing and implementing large projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of different partner types in the Supply chain domain and their business processes
• Architect large scale solutions that enable business processes using middleware technologies or Java based apps
• Hands on experience in working with industry standards like EDI X12, XML, JSON and API’s
• Experience in handling sensitive customer data like PII, SSN and other sensitive PCI data
• Outstanding communication skills and Proven ability to manage projects with on-time delivery and working experience in Agile development methodology

You will drive:

• Material selection for semiconductor packaging and module assembly, in particular adhesives for mechanical and electrical interconnect purposes
• New material characterisation
• Understand material applications and feedback findings or issues encountered during characterisation

Key Qualifications

• Ideally, you have experience as a Materials engineer in a R&D environment
• 3+ years experience in Thermal mechanical characterization: DMA/TMA/DSC/Rheometer/TGA or Mechanical characterization: tensile, impact test and etc.
• Adhesive formulation development and characterization (good to have)
• Ability to work independently, yet also be a strong team-player who thrives in dynamic and ever-changing work environments.
• Ability to clearly articulate issues quantitatively both verbally and with documentation
• Experience within a multi-functional team environment
• Self-motivated to investigate and take on difficult problems

Education & Experience

Degree holder in Materials/Chemistry Engineering or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge in tensile test setup and sample preparation
• Experience in SEM
