The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• The incumbent serves as an expert analyst responsible for developing and/or interpreting guidance on program planning, execution, and evaluation for the compliance, accounts management and/or taxpayer education and communication functions.

• Performs technician work that is supportive of professionals in resource management (i.e. Wildlife Biologists). These positions are primarily concerned with research, conservation, and management of wildlife; the control of wildlife; or determination, establishment, and application of the biological facts, principles, methods, techniques, and procedures necessary for the conservation, management, and control of wildlife.
• Implements natural resource management projects following established procedures. Collects and organizes field data, ensuring quality control of data or collected samples. Provides assessment and classification of data.
• Assists in the preparation of reports, plans, and guidelines related to resource management projects.
• Provides logistical support for resource management projects as well as advice, assistance, and training to students, volunteers or lower graded technicians.

The PACU RN is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines.

PACU RN duties include but are not limited to:

• Possessing the knowledge related to the physiology associated with various anesthesia techniques and surgical interventions.
• Assessing and prepare patients for procedures appropriately.
• Performing clinical assessment of the patient and readily recognizes contraindication for anesthesia and/or surgical intervention.
• Appling the appropriate post sedation scoring and assesses the patient's postoperative status to include cardiovascular and respiratory systems and airway management needs, neurological system, hemodynamic stability, pain, and comfort needs and mental status, implementing appropriate interventions to maintain or return all physiological system to baseline or above.

Major Duties include:

• Provides for the overall administrative support for the Homeless Program.
• Establishes internal procedures to secure adequate control in terms of deadlines, progress reports and directives and uses own initiative in developing procedures which will increase the general flow of information, access to care and overcome bottlenecks in the administrative process.
• Maintains responsibility for Homeless Program correspondence.
• Ensures accurate, timely and consistent entry of information in appropriate databases(s).
• Acts as a purchase cardholder for Homeless Program fund control points and Social Work Service as needed.
• Functions as an initial Point of Contact (POC) for Veterans seeking assistance from the Social Work Service Homeless Program, either by phone or in person.

• Performs all aspects of timekeeping for the Homeless Program or as designated by the Site Manager.
• Serves as ADPAC and is the point of contact for reported electronic (hardware/software) needs, equipment needs, difficulties and failures for the Homeless Program.

The major duties of this Biological Science Technician position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Implement biological resource management actions as a result of research and monitoring recommendations such as exotic vegetation control, vegetation management, restoration work, riparian protection, historic scene maintenance, etc.
• Participate as a team member with the unit scientist or specialist in all phases of the research process and assumes full technical and operational responsibility for specific phases of the research.
• Provide input into the initial planning of experiments.
• Makes field observations of natural resource conditions.

Major duties include:

• Lifecycle management of all medical systems such as imaging, life support, dialysis, and monitoring to include physical and network support.
• Maintains functional knowledge of relevant safety codes and standards of regulatory bodies including, but not limited to, The Joint Commission (TJC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).
• Documents all work performed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Applies basic networking principles to resolve medical system communication issues including, but not limited to, node to server failures.
