• Responsible for establishing, conducting, scheduling school exercise classes independently with integration of physical activity into curriculum and programs at community based chapter, and schools; manages all funds, budget development, fiscal monitoring, and equipment assigned, consisting of financial support, grant proposals; schedule on-going community exercise program with promotional incentives including contests, special events in coordination with other Indian Health Services and tribal programs.
• Ensures the development with directing all assigned employees health/fitness intervention programs; assists with evaluation of school physical activity programs including pre and post testing; assists with the coordination of provision of medical services in support of school based athletic programs, this includes working with Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Physical Therapy.

• Serves as the sole Medical Technologist Head of the Hematology, Coagulation, Transfusion Medicine, and Phlebotomy sections performing a full range of professional Clinical Laboratory tests and procedures for the entire laboratory.
• Informs supervisor of deficiencies in test performance and potential problems in meeting patient needs. Develops and implements the use of protocols for performances of tests, evaluation of results and other corrective action measures as assigned.
• Ensures the scheduling, performance, and documentation of the preventative maintenance for laboratory equipment (including pipette calibrations for transfusion medicine, tachometer calibrations on centrifuges, annual timers & thermometer checks, and annual PMs on analyzers). When needed, performs troubleshoots to diagnosis analyzer performance issues.
• Performs routine and specialized studies in blood coagulation, platelet function, anemia's, leukemia's, solving high complex diagnostic problems (i.e., consultation with medical providers and clinical pathologists for unusual smear reviews or possible transfusion reactions), and adopting new test methods to improve or expand Hematology, Coagulation, and Blood Bank services.
• Demonstrates a superior level of technical proficiency and problem-solving ability in such areas as (1) testing for blood group antibodies, compatibility, and antibody identification; (2) investigating abnormalities (such as hemolytic diseases of the newborn, hemolytic anemias, and adverse reactions to transfusion); (3) supporting physicians in transfusion therapy for patients with coagulopathies (diseases affecting blood clotting) and (4) performing blood collection and processing specimens for blood, typing blood, (or referring specimens for molecular testing) to ensure the safety of the patient.
• Plans, manages and monitors the activities and resources of the Hematology, Coagulation, Transfusion medicine, and Phlebotomy sections of the Core lab and resolves daily problems in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted quality service to customers and patients.
• Develops and implementing new testing methodologies (e.g., EIA or PCR) in both automated and manual procedures to meet objectives set by the Medical Officer (Admin) and supervisor.

A Hospice/Rehab Residential Care Coordinator (RCC) RN is responsible for creating and consistently communicating the nursing aspect of comprehensive interdisciplinary care plans tailored to residents' individualized needs. Each RCC plays a crucial role in daily operations by assisting in the direction of staffing and float rotation, ensuring optimal coverage for resident care. Directing nursing personnel involves guiding them in delivering resident care, aligning with established standards, and considering both resident needs and staff qualifications. Collaboration is key in actively working with and referring problems to other members of the interdisciplinary team, fostering effective communication for comprehensive resident care. When delegating responsibilities to non-licensed staff, tasks are assigned based on individual qualifications, ensuring efficient and coordinated delivery of care and program activities.

Responsibilities extend to interpreting unit and medical center policies and procedures to nursing staff, contributing to a cohesive and informed working environment. The RCC is actively involved in unit-level problem-solving, ensuring that resident care consistently meets established nursing standards and contributes to the development and implementation of unit-level goals and objectives. It is anticipated that they will attend and actively participate in unit staff meetings and huddles. Professional growth is expected and can include activities, including committee membership, task forces, and involvement in professional organizations. All RNs are expected to maintain current licensure and acquire continuing education units (CEUs) on time through relevant continuing education programs. The RCC may contribute insights to performance evaluations of both non-licensed and licensed professional staff, actively participating in the assessment and improvement of team members' contributions.
