Job Descriptions

• Assisting the Senior QS in managing all proposals and contracts consistently.
• Responsible in preparing Project tenders.
• Review and check sub-contractor progress claims.
• Able to advise suitable and effective strategies, skills and method in tender pricing.
• To ensure that all variation orders are well recorded and claimed.
• Liaise and work closely with the Project Manager on monthly cost reports.
• Participate in meetings with consultants, sub-contractors regarding contracts, costings, invoicing, and billing.
• Responsible for ensuring all suppliers, sub-contractors, workers, and expenses are in accordance with the budget.
• Prepare the pre- and post-project budget, progress claims, projected cash flow, tender documentation, and final accounts.
• Ensure progress claims, certifications, and invoices are issued on time.
• Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendors.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Quantity Survey.
• Minimum two (2) year's experience in the construction industry.
• Write and communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in additional language is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and have organizational skills.
• A basic understanding of construction contracts is required.
• Candidate with on-site working experience will be an advantage.

assisting predominately the estates manager to manage the property portfolio, the property administrator will provide efficient and accurate administrative duties for the day-to-day management of the portfolio

key accountabilities |

• to provide proactive, efficient, and effective property administration support to the Head of estates + acquisitions and estates manager as required
• to undertake the preparation and/or updating of schedules, spreadsheets and documents as required
• inputting information into databases that the property team use
• managing co-ordination of information between estate, accounts and any other required internal and external teams
• updating wider departments and external stakeholders of changes to the property portfolio where necessary
• review legal documents and advise on position/responsibility
• assisting the property team to pull together information on new properties in the portfolio
• Checking and approving property related invoices for sites on the internal system (Medius)
• arranging all inspections for properties
• dealing directly with tenants and landlords
• managing the sub-let portfolio to include communicating with tenants, dealing with any rent arrears, marketing vacant sites should they become vacant

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience required; working for a general contractor on large scale construction projects is highly preferred. DBIA and LEED Accreditation a plus

• Former USACE/NAVFAC experience preferred

• Experience integrating real property construction and weapon system deployment is a plus

• Ability to obtain a clearance

• 4+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams

• Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project

• Ability to make timely and effective decisions

• Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish

As Project Controls Analyst, you will serve as a trusted financial resource for construction projects and the primary liaison between operations and corporate finance. This highly visible and fast-paced position is charged with financial reporting, compliance, and processing responsibilities over projects ranging in size from $20 million to $1 billion in contract value.

Responsibilities

This position will report directly to the Project Manager/Project Executive with input from the lead Project Controls Manager in the region.  This individual will be in the middle of the action, working directly on our project sites and closely collaborating with our project team and trade partners.

Project Accounting & Administration 

• Compiling owner requisition 

• Internal audit finding resolution

• Subcontractor requisition and accounts payable processing 

• Consumable materials purchasing and equipment inventory monitoring 

• Management of field payroll

• Assist with project setup, closeout, and owner contract review and readiness

• Lien waiver and insurance administration

• Small Business Tracking and Reporting

Project Finance

• Support monthly project financial forecast
