THALES are looking to recruit a dedicated Real Estate Operations Lead to play a key role in leading the successful performance of the Real Estate function delivering high standards of customer experience. Supporting the delivery of Real Estate projects and tasks including the role out of digital solutions.
You will be based at Templecombe, Crawley or Reading as your office location but happy to travel to our other sites as and when needed.

What will you deliver?
- Management of all Real Estate data and creation of the Real Estate data management plan to support the Thales big data initiative
- Creation and management of all Real Estate reporting and UK Real Estate dashboards
- Deliver cross function support to the Real Estate Digital transformation plan to include the Real Estate internet pages, creation and management of a digital communication plan for UK Real Estate
- To deliver support to the UK Real Estate team on all aspects of customer engagement, working with our outsource service providers on a single brand and a “ focus on the customer strategy and plan”
- Deliver Real Estate governance by the management of UK Real Estate Chorus Documents and internal processes. Support the development of new UK Real Estate processes working closely with the UK Head of Capital Projects and UK Head of Workplace Management.
- Supporting the UK Energy Management strategy and the Real Estate Environmental sustainability working Group
Who are we looking for?
- A customer focussed team player ideally with Real Estate experience of practices and processes gained within a fast moving customer facing, multi-stakeholder corporate environment.
- A working interest in digital progress is essential, understanding how the digital world can drive change and deliver a brilliant customer experience.
- Working knowledge of Power BI required or a willingness to learn
- Accuracy of reporting and the ability to present data in a clear, summarised fashion at a level appropriate to the needs of the particular task
- A motivated self-starter, capable of working on own initiative with a high level of integrity to lead and deliver multiple key tasks.
- An organised forward thinker able to work within a process whilst striving to develop and improve the norm. A problem solver
- A confident communicator, resourceful and proactive, with extensive stakeholder engagement and management experience. The ability to influence, guide and challenge stakeholders is essential
- People management experience of 1 direct report.
- A positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Business and commercial awareness
- The ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities.
- The ability to operate across organisational boundaries – in a matrix-style organisation.
- The ability to be flexible and provide a helpful, positive approach to the requirements of the role.
