Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Creates designs and furnishes buildings and medical facilities.
• Prepares necessary visual aids, such as architectural drawings, sketches, renderings, color boards, and physical models for presentation of projects to appropriate officials.
• Prepares all necessary scaled architectural floor plans, space layouts, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, working drawings, specifications, and detailed drawings for custom work and furniture fabrication.
• Uses familiarity with building systems and construction techniques to understand the limitations imposed on space designs.
• Understands scaled floor plans and symbols used therein, both for interpreting and for producing accurate drawings
• Prepares floor plans, furnishings, and accessory selections.
• Understands a variety of methods, techniques, and materials used in architectural and interior design needs for the facility.
• Possesses up-to-date knowledge of sources, manufacturer materials and product innovations to ensure design selections are available and current.
• Consults with customers before, during, and after interior design needs are developed.
• Procures, fabricates, and places all interior and exterior signs.
• Uses knowledge of current furniture, technology, and finish products, including ergonomic and productivity impacts in the workplace and healthcare environment.
• Completes work schedules and presentation boards as well as accurate cost estimates.
• Prepares and maintains interior design budget.

The selectee will report to an assigned DOL office location on a regular basis and be eligible for telework as determined by agency policy. This is not a remote position. Major duties include but are not limited to:

• Develop and documents the infrastructure, including the business units and key processes, using modeling techniques. Oversees creation and maintenance of technical infrastructure roadmaps, reference architecture models, and standardized communication processes. Develops and maintains a repository of IT Architecture standards, templates, and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems to support business processes and utilize emerging technologies. Conducts studies to identify improvements in the way IT architecture is applied to key business functions for the agency.
• Ensure rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to all components of the IT Architecture.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure the seamless integration of AI technologies. Monitors the performance of AI systems to ensure they meet established goals and standards.
• Manage the planning and execution of complex AI projects from inception to completion. Oversees project teams, ensuring all members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Plan and manage programs that implement advanced technology governance and IT management principles and practices in order to be cost-effective and prevent redundancy, and ensure integration, agility, reuse, and standardization of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, etc.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and conduct cost-benefit analyses to select vendors that align with organizational needs and budget constraints. Ability to maintain ongoing communication with vendors addresses issues and ensures compliance with contract terms.

• Initiates background investigations and reviews and pre-screens law enforcement, investigations, and corrections applicants for Tribal law enforcement and public safety departments.
• Interviews subjects of investigations, employees, and other individuals to determine factual information, circumstances and behaviors that are critical to final adjudication determination.
• Provides advice, assistance and guidance to the Tribes in matters pertaining to personnel security statutory requirements.
• Adheres to Bureau policies, ethics and standards.
• Serves as point of contact for assigned areas of responsibility with US Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Investigative Service, DCSA, and other investigative agencies when conducting background investigations.
• Documents spreadsheets, databases, and third-party sites as required to initiate, track and report background investigation statuses from initiation to final retention disposition.
• Performs special projects as assigned and assists with investigating complaints or researching deficiencies.

• You will analyze contract specifications to determine compliance of proposed work with occupational safety requirements.
• You will perform constructability review of contract documents (e.g., plans and specifications) before contract award.
• You will review contractor quality control plans and procedures to verify compliance with contract requirements.
• You will perform site visits to evaluate contractor compliance with applicable contract clauses and evaluate the accuracy of progress reports submitted.

• Leads departmental deployment of security systems technologies for a variety of administrative, financial, technical and security applications; and provides authoritative input on all matters pertaining to security services.
• Develops policies, plans, and procedures to ensure the continued reliability, security and accessibility of systems, network, and data infrastructure.
• Ensures critical mission systems are in compliance and consistent with the Department's IT Security Program and enhance interoperability and integration for business applications and IT infrastructure.
• Evaluates the impact of new cybersecurity guidance on current programs and recommends changes to existing policies and processes to ensure compliance and responsiveness.
• Provides expert advice, counsel, and instruction to senior management on cybersecurity issues and conducts decision-type briefings, as required, to perform missions and achieve goals and objectives.
• This position may require on call duties on a 24x7x365 basis and may be required to work weekends, nights and/or holidays on a rotational basis or as the need/workload dictates.
