About the Role:
As a Digital Design Manager / Architect, you will be based in the Edinburgh office, leading and managing a talented team of design engineers within the Digital IP Group. You will play a key role in architecting and delivering cutting-edge IP solutions that cater to high-tech markets, ensuring these solutions meet stringent performance, quality, and time-to-market requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of digital design engineers to develop high-performance IP solutions
• Architect digital designs for complex systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency
• Oversee the entire design process, from concept to production, including design, verification, and validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineers, to ensure integrated solutions
• Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies, tools, and processes
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Engage with key customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into design specifications
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in digital design and architecture within the semiconductor or EDA industry
• Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams
• Expertise in digital design, including RTL coding, verification, synthesis, and timing analysis
• Strong knowledge of design tools and methodologies, such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, and DFT
