The eCommerce Art Director is responsible for the creative direction and execution for one of Industrial Color’s largest ecom production clients. In this role, the Art Director will handle all aspects of the ecom creative process, and ensure that the output of work on this account is continually meeting the client’s expectations, creative guidelines and quality.  The ideal candidate will have experience in on set art direction, and a knowledge of styling, photography and creative principles for both still imagery and video.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as on set ecom Art Director for a dedicated on model ecom client, shooting daily.  
• Be able to provide clear feedback and direction to on set teams and ensure that on set team members adhere to creative direction + specific guidelines, while meeting required productivity. 
• Act as liaison between client and IC team to ensure we are meeting creative guidelines set forth by the client.
• Ensure that all images are consistent and within the right quality standards.
• Create documentation to help facilitate and implement all creative guidelines (style guides, retouching guides, etc) and update all documents on a frequent basis to keep up with new trends, incoming merchandise, seasonal changes, and direction from the client.
• Ensure all images are cropped according to ecom guidelines. 
• Oversee casting needs for the various sub brands of this account, and continually refresh the pool of talent available for our shoots.
• Establish and cultivate a network of support staff for roles such as hair stylists, make up artists, stylists and photographers.
• Act as point person for freelancers and to make sure that all on set team members are executing against the same creative vision.
• Keep up with ecom trends and continually brainstorm ways to elevate creative and the overall creative process.
• Lead in the testing of new creative initiatives and approaches that can help enhance the output of images and overall productivity of the account.
• Work closely with Production + Merchandise Manager to schedule shoots for the week based on creative needs, casting availability, sample priorities, etc.

These components are used across multiple products. What you need to succeed

Must-Haves

• Specialist understanding of building sophisticated web UI using multiple frameworks, build tools, and the latest ECMAScript features (4+ years)

• Deep experience and flexibility around CSS architecture and practices, such as pre and post processors, cross-browser concerns, layout, responsive design, and animation (4+ years)

• Detailed experience with web UI implementation, ideally having direct experience with the web components standard, lit-based components, and related aspects of that ecosystem. (3+ years)

• Compassionate leadership skills and a proven track record working collaboratively in a team. You lead by listening and engaging team members and colleagues in planning and discovery.

• Proven knowledge of the Node.js ecosystem and npm package development (2+ years)

The Atlantic seeks an associate art director to join the newsroom. The associate art director will create, commission, and art direct digital assignments for The Atlantic, with a focus on social media, daily coverage, and features. The challenge

The BI data architect will be responsible for helping design and build data solutions to support the $2B+ Digital Media for Enterprise business, including Adobe’s flagship Creative Cloud and Document Cloud solutions.

Working with the product managers, BI developers, and the Senior Manager of Data Engineering, the BI data architect will analyze reporting requirements and help design and implement the necessary database tables and Tabular models.

In this role, you will be working with a complex assembly (100+ tables) of data sources from many business units which are transformed and integrated into a shared Tabular model leveraged by an expanding suite of complex Power BI reports.

The reporting requirements from the product managers are complex, and the shared Tabular model must evolve to support those requirements.  Thorough analysis and thoughtful design are needed before implementing Tabular model changes.  The reporting requirement analysis requires collaboration with product managers and BI developers, and the Tabular model and database changes require collaboration with the Senior Manager of Data Engineering.

What you'll do:

• Work creatively and analytically to solve problems in a fast-paced development environment.
• Become a domain expert in Adobe’s sales, support, and product usage data.
• Become intimately familiar with the team’s data warehouse and Tabular models.
• Analyze Power BI reporting requirements, especially in relation to data warehouse tables and Tabular models.
• Create derivative database tables to support reporting requirements.
• Modify and create Tabular models to support Power BI reports.
• Identify and debug data problems in warehouse tables and Power BI datasets.
• Identify deficiencies in Tabular models; recommend and implement improvements.

What you need to succeed:

• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing SSAS Tabular models; 6+ years
• 10+ years of professional experience with BI and data warehousing
• Data architect skills; conceptual, logical, and physical modeling; integration techniques; access control strategies
• Strong SQL and database skills
• Experience with Power BI report development and DAX; 3+ years
• Strong requirement gathering skills; understanding the problem; efficient communication
• Ability to multi-task simultaneous projects
• BS or MS in Computer Science or comparable experience

Special consideration given for:

• Python, Linux, Bash; the team’s SQL-based ELT workloads are orchestrated/automated using these technologies
• Knowledge in Data Science, ML/AI application life-cycle
