• Work directly with beneficiaries, lessees, and other land-owners about the process of realty documentation.

• Providing oversight for management of trust and restricted fee real property ensuring the protection, conservation, and prudent utilization of Indian lands
• Analyzing requests for use of Indian owned trust assets to determine the compatibility of proposed uses with agency mission and owner needs
• Implementing a trust real estate services program to accomplish the timely and efficient processing of various realty transactions, i.e. right-of-way, surface and subsurface leasing and permitting
• Ensuring lease compliance, including accounting for use of trust assets
• Providing responses to trespasses and other unresolved rights cases
• Processing all types of transactions of trust lands

• Create, review, and update inter-agency policies and develop and revise operational standards, policies, procedures and guidelines for a BIA-wide detention/correction and rehabilitation program and ensure that the program is compliant with Department and National Corrections and Jail Associations practices and regulations. Implement change to support the mission and goals of the BIA.
• Develop, plan, coordinate and implement a detention/correction and rehabilitation program in Indian Country. Initiate actions for necessary changes that impact the overall operation of the program.
• Provide technical assistance to tribes, BIA and the Department in regards to negotiating and reviewing contractual agreements and will serve as the Contracting Officers Technical Representative (COTR) managing all contract beds in the district, conducting site visits, program reviews, annual reports, preparing budgetary estimates of construction/renovation projects as well as operation and maintenance expenditures, etc.
• Prepare instruction and information for field personnel for the creation and implementation of standards, policies, procedures and post orders. Prepares forms and bulletins to be used in the detention/correction and rehabilitation program. Inspect field programs and facilities to assure maximum coordination between BIA and the Department.
• Maintain an effective liaison with Federal, Tribal, State and local officials in promoting and enhancing cooperation and understanding of the BIA detention/correction programs mission and agenda.

• Plan, organize and direct a trust Real Estate Services program involving Indian trust lands.
• Negotiate complex leases and other land use documents for residential, agricultural, rights-of-way, acquisition and disposal, and commercial/industrial purposes.
• Provide guidance on environmental compliance issues
• Determine the need for an environmental assessment or environmental impact statement in accordance with National Environmental Policy Act
• Perform the final review of executed leases prior to approval to determine proper execution, legality, and conformance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise employees in the branch.

Position Overview

We are looking for a remote intern to work with teams to distill complicated problems into simple and elegant solutions. You'll work on projects and guide them through research, exploration, design, and delivery for the solutions that power the Autodesk Construction Solutions. During your time, you will be paired with another team member who will guide you in learning our technical infrastructure and assisting you on your projects.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with your design mentor, product manager, and engineering partners to design solutions for customer problems

• Use Figma and other documentation tools to explore design solutions and get them ready for engineering execution

• Build domain knowledge and an understanding of our users’ mental models to design intuitive workflows for them

• Bring your work to design critique and work with other designers to refine and test your solutions

• Leverage user research to test your designs with users

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or Software engineering

• Design process knowledge, with experience applying it to different types of problems

• Experience with Figma, Sketch, Invision, or similar design and prototyping tools

• Can work within an existing design system, and have an interest in contributing to and evolving ours

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:

• $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
• $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
• $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
