About the Role (your why)  

The Domain Architect is a diverse role and incorporates the technical leadership and domain expertise for their technology function within the Technology Domain within the Internal Corporate IT Team. This role will ensure systems, offerings, and processes are fit-for-purpose and designed to meet our contracted services across our technology towers of responsibility. The Domain Architect will provide expertise on client engagements, manage small to medium technical programs, and develop, coordinate and deliver all aspects of customer IT needs or parts of large customer engagements. This role includes building roadmaps and doing gap analysis.

What you’ll do   

• Providing advanced technical support and advice to others on engagement/program during proposal writing, solution design and implementation.
• Leading team members, third parties, and technological counterparts in client organisations in the integration of technological methodologies and components of projects.
• Ensuring and being accountable for the technical integrity of the design, in accordance with the clients' requirements.
• Developing and assisting in the development of rapid prototyping demonstrations. Managing day-to-day technical program or segment activities, including relationships with the client, managing and reviewing assigned consulting staff.
• Developing and delivering client and internal technical presentations.
• Ensuring new or supported systems are designed to meet and integrate with organisation requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
• Designing, developing and documenting complex infrastructure architectures for the specific domain that meet the evolving IT requirements of our customers.
• Contributing to the Major Incident & Business Continuity plan for Technology Operations.
• Providing architectural assurance for proposed changes to customers’ environment.
• Defining and documenting network architecture within guidelines set by the organisation's chief IT architects/gurus.
• Developing comprehensive technical reports outlining proposed methodologies to achieve desired outcomes.

• Maintaining an excellent knowledge of industry/vendor products and solutions within the networking/infrastructure sphere.

• Providing ongoing support and guidance associated with the organisation's existing networking architecture.
• Reviewing technical infrastructure or system designs to ensure consistency with set standards and policies.
• Providing technical planning advice to business units in relation to their needs, including up front analysis of needs and hardware/software recommendations.
• Ensuring that systems comply with government legislation and standards in those countries in which Datacom operates.
• Responsible for implementing a principle driven health and safety culture that cares for employees and ensures their safety in line with Datacom policy.

About you

You are a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (FinOps) – Technical Lead, with extensive recent experience with D365 FinOps but equally familiar with the heritage of the previous on-premise versions. The Technical Lead role provides technical leadership to his/her colleagues as well as being hands-on and being responsible for designing, developing, modifying and debugging code for troubleshooting the issues.

Importantly, you will be key in the delivery of complex, enterprise level outcomes for med-large scale public and private sector organisations. You will be someone who projects confidence in their technical abilities and who is comfortable and articulate when engaging with customers directly where you will conduct yourself always in a commercially savvy and professional manner. You will also be comfortable in getting involved in pre-sales activities, which includes providing estimation for customization and Integrations.

What you’ll bring

• Able to show extensive experience with D365 FinOps as well as previous Dynamics versions.

• Ability to recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
• Provide guidance and advice to the team to assist with meeting schedules and resolve technical problems.
• Ability to lead the technical F&O team and guide them through the technical deliverables.
• Build and maintain a strong, constructive working relationship with staff, focused on achieving business goals and enabling the team to work to their full potential.

• Strong development experience with Microsoft technologies including X++, SSRS reports, AIF and an understanding of AX/D365 Finance architecture.
• Ability to develop a Solution Architecture, based on customer’s requirements.

• Advanced understanding of integration concepts.
• Experience in the range of typical delivery methodologies.
• Experience in upgrading on Premise product (AX 2009, AX 2012) to D365 Finance.
• Have led at least two end to end implementation or upgrade project as a Technical Lead.
• Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to be an active contributor in customer workshops. Experience and comfort in establishing working rapport with business and technical customers.
• Experience gathering technical requirements, solutioning and producing quality technical designs, both within Dynamics 365 and in the wider context of integrated business platforms.
• Ability to manage your time effectively in a self-driven agile environment.

·       Strong design and hands-on experience with various Storage solutions (Block, File, and Object)

·       Practical experience and excellent understanding of working with Enterprise Storage platforms, with a preference for Dell-EMC

·       Experience in a multi-tenanted Cloud environment

·       High-level knowledge and design experience with the various technologies used in the Datacom Private Cloud

·       Practical experience working with Virtualised environments running on VMware, Hyper-V or other hypervisors - specifically with VMware

About the Role

The Senior Solution Architect is primarily responsible for the Designs for the future and road mapping for Datacom Cloud with a relentless focus on continuous improvement of cloud operations and associated delivery leveraging agile methodologies. The role will deliver technical designs, assist with RFP’s and work across a broad range of technologies. They maintain knowledge of the technologies deployed as well as up to date professional certifications to ensure the delivery of an exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

The support of the various technologies that are deployed to deliver the Datacom Cloud. These technologies cover compute, storage, data protection, networking and automation

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Datacom to produce a single cloud vision and value proposition
• Collaborate and work closely with Datacom Cloud Engineering and Product teams
• Undertaking Project Delivery encompassing high level solution architecture, detailed design and quality assurance
• Work with Datacom Cloud customers to design solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Identify and drive to implementation, opportunities to automate processes and drive down cost.
• Provide technical leadership in all areas of Infrastructure and Cloud to increase the effectiveness of the entire team
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with all areas of the business, particularly other Architects and acting as advocates for the business.
• ·Support architectural governance forums, providing guidance to other Architects on ways to optimise designs and align with standards and guidelines
• Provide escalated support and thought leadership to members of other teams, Championing the adoption of best practice throughout the Architecture practice. Act as a mentor to more junior architects, helping to increase the effectiveness of the team
• Work closely with sales and pre-sales, provide input to and write responses to tenders and customer RFPs. Accompany sales staff on customers meetings and providing support to the sales process
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to build a culture of service excellence and demonstrates new ways of working
• Support and assist with related organisational changes and activities that are required as an outcome of business improvement activities
• Display a high level of operational discipline, ensuring Datacom and client processes, policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.

About the role

As a driven designer, you will be responsible for driving the creative direction of digital campaigns, leveraging your sound understanding of typography, layout, animation and design trends.
