The EW Division of Leidos is looking for a FPGA DSP Firmware Design Engineer to work with a multi-disciplined design team (electrical engineers, systems engineers, scientists, etc) to design, develop, simulate, and integrate challenging DSP FPGA designs and RF sensor systems based on given project requirements.  Candidate will have a strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and their implementation in MATLAB and FPGAs in support of a fast paced, multi-disciplinary design team. Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze schematic diagrams for either custom or commercial-off-the shelf (COTS) electronic hardware involving high-speed digital and/or analog circuitry in associated FPGA-centric systems.

• Develop and maintain requirements documents, functional specification documents, interface control documents, etc.

• Generate and maintain engineering drawings and configuration management policies for FPGA project hierarchy.

• Develop project test plans and test procedures, provide test planning support, and assist in the execution of both lab testing and field testing.

Leidos is hiring for a Graphic Designer Team Lead in Washington, DC. Team leads are technical leads for contractor personnel in their functional area and SMEs in their labor categories. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide senior-level expertise to team members, complete complicated or complex tasks independently, and lead or direct the work of contractor personnel assigned to their functional area. 
• Work collaboratively with analysts to understand requirements and further enhances / conveys analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutions. 
• Provide graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products including, but not limited to, developing illustrations, editing existing images, providing font management, and utilizing advanced pre-publications techniques. 
• Use Government-specified technology to produce graphic design, cartographic products, and interactive graphical content, video content, analytic product templates, and marketing content.
• Demonstrate proficiency in professional graphics and design software to include, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere, and Flash), Apple Final Cut Pro X, and Apple Mac hardware platforms, Map Publisher, Microsoft 365, and any other interactive graphics enablers, languages, or tools specified.

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a HRIS Solution Architect/Chief Engineer to join a high performing Agile team in designing and deploying Workday at Veterans Affairs. Primary Responsibilities

• Support the definition, configuration, development and delivery of a successful Workday HR solution.
• Lead the creation of solution architecture documentation including future state process, configuration dictionaries, etc.
• Build an in-depth understanding of the customer’s current and future business needs and the relationship of interdependent project work streams.

The EW Division of Leidos is looking for a FPGA DSP Firmware Design Engineer to work with a multi-disciplined design team (electrical engineers, systems engineers, scientists, etc) to design, develop, simulate, and integrate challenging DSP FPGA designs and RF sensor systems based on given project requirements.  Candidate will have a strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and their implementation in MATLAB and FPGAs in support of a fast paced, multi-disciplinary design team. This role will also support integration, test, and verification in the final products.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, simulate, and implement algorithms in hardware descriptor languages, HDL (VHDL, Verilog), based on customer requirements and/or MATLAB model(s).

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplined design team (electrical engineers, systems engineers and scientists) to design and integrate challenging DSP FPGA designs and RF sensor systems.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplined design team to design and integrate DSP applications for latest System on a Chip (SoC) implementations such as Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+, Intel Stratix-10, and Xilinx RFSoC.

• Analyze, design, and implement HDL test benches in hardware description languages, HDL (VHDL, Verilog), for code validation and validation against models.

• Perform design constraints generation and verification as well as evaluate synthesis and timing performance reports.

• Implement and validate signal processing concepts such as FFTs, channelizers, digital filters, digital modulation, digital down/up-conversion, adaptive processing, etc. into either new or existing modular HDL designs.

• Analyze, design, simulate, and implement designs which interface to common signaling standards, typical IP hard macros such as SERDES, PLLS, etc. and/or protocols such PCIe, JESD204B, LVDS, etc.

• Analyze schematic diagrams for either custom or commercial-off-the shelf (COTS) electronic hardware involving high-speed digital and/or analog circuitry in associated FPGA-centric systems.

• Develop and maintain requirements documents, functional specification documents, interface control documents, etc.

• Generate and maintain engineering drawings and configuration management policies for FPGA project hierarchy.

• Develop project test plans and test procedures, provide test planning support, and assist in the execution of both lab testing and field testing.

• Provide occasional technical support and/or field support planning, and other field support in general if needed.

• Conduct experimental tests on latest FPGA and SoC evaluation boards, evaluate results, and then develop specifications for selecting next-generation components for deliverable systems.

Today, Electronic Warfare (EW) is a growing enterprise - protecting the warfighter and our national security against ever-adapting threats. The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) at Leidos currently has an opening for a mid-level hardware design engineer to support a portfolio of programs in San Diego developing state-of-the-art  hardware architectures such as system-on-chip (SoC).  As an Hardware Architect, you will join a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team of signal processing and software engineers who are developing leading-edge, cyber-resilient hardware processor solutions.

The selected individual will support activities throughout the entire hardware design lifecycle to include post-fabrication integration and test.  He/she is expected to perform a wide range of functions to include conceptual design, system engineering, hardware/software integration, and validation.  The selected individual must possess a strong understanding of hardware components and radio frequency (RF) hardware for use in embedded systems.  This includes application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC), field programmable gate arrays (FPGA), digital signal processors (DSP), and data converters.  He/she must also possess a sound knowledge of radar concepts as well as a good understanding of algorithm implementation and hardware/software co-design.  Along with program specific technical activities, he/she will also support business development within Leidos’ broader Hardware portfolio.  The selected candidate will interact daily with Leidos subcontractors and potential partners within the semiconductor industry. 

Primary responsibilities:

• Design, integrate, and test SoCs suited for a diverse array of signal processing applications

• Drive SoC architecture definition through documentation to include preliminary design specifications, system requirements, interface control documents, block diagrams, IP and DFT configurations

• Provide technical guidance and subcontractor oversight throughout SoC design process to include, supervising design activities (RTL, DFT, physical design, verification), integration (packaging), and test (test application/demo)
