*Job Summary:*
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts and Admin Officer to manage our financial transactions, administrative tasks, and purchasing functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent accounting skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Accounts:*
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Process invoices, payments, and journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payments
- Prepare financial reports and statements as required
*Administration:*
- Provide administrative support to the team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and filing documents
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Coordinate travel arrangements and meetings
*Purchases:*
- Handle purchase orders, invoices, and payments
- Verify and process vendor invoices
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and expenses
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies
*Other:*
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required
*Requirements:*
- Diploma or degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounts and admin roles
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Nice to Have:*
- Experience with purchasing and inventory management
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
- Certification in accounting or bookkeeping
