Our MOJ client requires 4 administrators to join the admin team within the Nottingham Justice Centre,
based in Nottingham City Centre and offers a great opportunity to work within the courts and gain experience
Temporary Administrator Position - until end of May 2025 with probable extension
Full Time Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
£11.88 per hour
Are you enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a busy team, do you have a passion for providing excellent admin and customer service support, if so we want to hear from you.
As a Resulting Admin Officer, you will either be sat in a court, for Nottingham, or in a back office, for Birmingham, providing support and recording results to live cases.
When in court, you will be sat with members of the judiciary, so you may hear some distressing things.
Duties may include but not be limited to
- Setting cases up and recording live results
- Accurate data entry
- Providing admin support to the Legal Advisor
- Preparing accurate paper records and electronic files
- Make phone calls to clients and members of the judiciary
- Dealing with queries, these could be by email, phone or face to face
- Proving support to members of the judiciary as required
- Liaising with members of the public, court users and Judiciary
- Creating and updating records using in-house computer systems and Office 365
- Maintaining of manual and electronic records
Required Skills
- Good accurate typing/data entry skills
- Active listening and paying attention to proceedings
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Good strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work as part of a team but also able to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
This is a temporary role to run until May 2025, possibly to be extended beyond this date. Working full time Monday to Friday 37 hours per week. The role is subject to 3years referencing and a Standard DBS Check
Full training will be given.
