Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests and report results following established protocols.
• Receive and sort specimens, assess their suitability for testing, enter data, and reject unsuitable specimens.
• Participate in quality assurance and control programs.
• Assist with phlebotomy for inpatients and train new staff and students.
• Help improve laboratory processes and support the Section Leader with operational and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

• Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Hematology, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.
• Candidates with a Diploma in relevant fields may be considered for the Junior Medical Technologist role.
• No prior experience needed, but a strong interest in Hematology laboratories is preferred.

Requirement:

• Able to work 3-rotating-shift work patterns, including staggered and extended working hours, and coverage after hours and on weekends and public holidays to meet the needs of the department and hospital
