Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a well-known food manufacturing company within the West Midlands location. The company in question are looking for a multiskilled maintenance engineer.
Job Role:
As a core member of the engineering team, you will be reporting directly to the engineering maintenance manager, and other departments to minimise downtime and preventative maintenance schedules. Delivering safety, quality, and cost-efficiency of the business operations.
Typical Duties will involve:
- Ensures production priorities are understood in order that maintenance works are carried out enabling orders to be met.
- Working closely with Maintenance Manager to ensure planning of engineering activities are fully supported.
- Maintenance of all plant equipment and PPM schedules.
- Ensure company and statutory Health and Safety regulations are met at all times.
- Installation of new plant equipment
Desirable experience
- A recognised time served apprenticeship
- NVQ Level 3
- Food manufacturing maintenance
- Experience of repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment in a controlled environment
- Strong diagnostic, fault finding capability.
- Managing safe working practices
- knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical and PC/Inverter Assets
