It is the Assistant Driller’s responsibility to ensure that the work is performed safely, efficiently and according to procedure. The Assistant driller also takes total ownership of everything on the drilling location.

The position supervises onsite maintenance personnel to ensure that proper planning and scheduling of pre-determined maintenance is completed accordingly, including the availability of required parts.
