This job is located in a National Guard maintenance facility, warehouse, training site, supply or support type facility. Its purpose is to oversee one or more product lines, a segment of a large warehouse, or serve as the senior employee in a smaller warehouse or supply facility.

• Performs the full range of warehousing activities to include receiving, storing, selecting and shipping general or specialized bulk and bin materials and equipment. Develops, or assists in the development of plans for storage and arrangement of stock to determine warehouse configuration, setup, movement, rearrangement and traffic flow. This oversight would include litigating enforcement matters on behalf of the Program, overseeing private trustees, handling appellate matters, and referring criminal conduct identified in connection with bankruptcy cases. The Program seeks to hire talented Trial Attorneys and provide them with frequent and meaningful court experience on a variety of issues arising in bankruptcy cases.

The typical duties of a field office Trial Attorney include:

• Oversee the administration of bankruptcy cases filed in the judicial districts served by the Region and the field office;
• Litigate issues arising in chapter 11 proceedings, including those involving corporate governance, and issues arising in employment applications, fee applications, disclosure statements, and plan confirmation matters;
• Litigate civil enforcement matters arising in consumer bankruptcy cases, including discharge objections, dismissal proceedings involving debtors' ability to repay creditors, attorney misconduct matters, and non-attorney document preparation servicer misconduct;

• Confers with the Maintenance Scheduler and/or the M&R Operations Supervisor regarding his findings relative to maintenance and repairs to utility systems and equipment and helps plan and coordinate the repair of any issues.
• Knows codes and regulations pertaining to the practice of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and steam. Plumbing includes but is not limited to domestic water, heating/cooling piping, natural gas/propane, compressed air, sanitary drain piping.

• Installs and maintains all types of equipment such as lavatories, commodes, showers, and dietetic equipment, hot water heaters, boilers, radiators, pressure regulating valves, sprinkler systems, sterilizers, steam traps, back-flow preventers, and all thermostatic equipment.
• Makes preventive maintenance inspections of all steam, water, and gas lines, and on fixtures and appliances, relative to those portions of utility systems.
• Performs the following related tasks in connection with said duties: pipe covering, welding, brazing, sheet metal work and minor electrical work such as controls on pumps and HV AC equipment, chrono-flow and motorized valves, vacuum pumps and pneumatic systems and piping or plumbing related to x-ray and dental equipment.
• Follows all Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures as required by OSHA and VA regulations.
