• Consults with representatives of serviced organizations and HRO staff to design, implement, and maintain HRO-unique subsystems. Responsible for monitoring computer equipment to prevent lost or stolen items and promptly reports discrepancies. Evaluates and approves requests from HRO personnel and other interested organizations for special non-routine products. Analyzes Headquarters NGB procedures as they affect HR operations; develops and implements local procedures to accomplish higher headquarters objectives; ensures compliance with such procedures at local level. Incumbent performs his/her assigned shift, coordinating workflow, determining priority of examinations and ensuring workload completion. Performs a variety of radiographic examinations such as routine, difficult, and complex studies in department as well as OR and on the wards/units. Receives the patient, explains the method of procedure, positions patients, selects and sets technical factors, sets up and adjusts accessory equipment required and makes exposures necessary for the requested procedure. In performing these duties, the incumbent is responsible for the following:

1. Performs standard radiographic examinations of the head, trunk and extremities for diagnoses of illness and injuries with minimal to no assistance. Receives patients and explains examinations to be performed, ensuring patients are properly attired and prepared before positioning patient for requested examination. Performs procedures as defined by the equipment and scope of services, possibly including GI and small bowel series, cholecystograms, cholangiograms, urethorograms, barium and air contrast enemas, myelograms, arthrograms, venograms, DXA Scans, and contrast injections as it correlates to exam. Correlates clinical history, pertinent clinical data and other ancillary diagnostic examinations to obtain radiographic images of optimal value.
2. Able to assist radiologist in fluoroscopic examinations which require incumbent to prepare and administer intravenous, oral, and/or rectal contrast media. Fluoroscopic studies such as upper GI's, barium enemas, esophagrams and small bowel follow through are performed on a digital fluoroscopy unit employing direct digital radiography.
3. Assists in training employees and student technologist, coordinates radiation safety, receives patients and explains procedures, prepares x-ray room and equipment; performs portables, OR procedures, emergency room (Triage), and recovery room.
4. Maintains records of patients examined, and studies performed in the VISTA hospital information system and CPRS.
5. Evaluates the nature of critical and emergency procedures and rearranges patient priorities to accommodate these more urgent requirements.
6. Responsible to explain exams to competent patients so that the patient understands what is to be done as well as what hazards, if any, is possible. Incumbent may be required by procedure or patient's condition to monitor vital signs, recognize allergic reactions and initiate cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
7. Properly identifies patient images using left and right markers. This is essential so that mistaken identity of films to patients does not occur. The technologist must be certain that the patient ID band and the request are identical.
8. Performs operator maintenance on equipment as required.
1. Responsible to the radiologists and supervisor for the quality and quantity of radiographic exams performed in order to assure a high level of acceptability of radiographs while minimizing patient dosage and reducing costs.
10. Performs quality control/assurance checks on studies performed to ensure that only optimally diagnostic images are forwarded to the radiologist(s) for interpretation.
11. Practices radiation safety in order to reduce exposure to patients, staff and self. This is achieved by the use of lead aprons, lead gloves, lead shields, lead-lined walls and collimation. Film badges are worn by the technologists to assure compliance to radiation regulations. The incumbent must also be aware of and practice the safety policies and procedures of the ALM VA Hospital and participate in quality assurance activities as directed.

Role Profile:

This is a key role in growing ERM’s Digital Services offerings, with a primary focus on EHS&S Management Information Systems solutions sales, client account development, and project execution to deliver strategic value to our clients. As a senior leader, you will be fully accountable for successfully selling and consulting on a range of EMIS projects to build a sustainable business locally, while networking with ERM's global Digital Services team to share best practices across the industry. We are seeking both established and emerging leaders who are interested in being part of this thriving global community – outstanding professionals who combine strong consulting and business development skills with a technical foundation to foster and expand a network of excellent Digital Services solutions client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the growth and development of ERM’s global integrated solutions and actively collaborate with colleagues across the globe.  Drive innovation within the business to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate ERM in the market.
• Develop and implement strategic business and action plans, provide leadership, and deliver performance results to expand ERM's Digital Services business and client base in the EMEA regions.
• As a senior “seller/doer,” personally win new Digital Services engagements annually. Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients. Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business.
• Develop and manage strategic EHS&S Management Information Systems programs for a variety of clients with complex technical/regulatory issues.  Design and direct large programs/projects and multi-person project teams.  Achieve client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Serve as the billable Partner-in-Charge on sold engagements that require your skill set, or serve as a billable subject matter expert on other engagements that need your expertise.
• Leverage technical skills to help teams drive double-digit profitable growth across the Digital Services service lines (e.g. effectively working with key clients by assisting them with their EHS&S Management Information Systems software selection, implementation, system integration, training, rollout, support, maintenance, and improvements).
• Lead, manage performance, inspire and mentor personnel for overall success of the team.
• Develop a working understanding of ERM’s other consulting service areas and actively support cross-selling these services to existing clients. Support the general growth and development of ERM’s international Digital Services area. Coordinate with ERM offices in the US, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America regions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/MS in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related program.
• 15+ years of relevant consulting experience working with significant clients on EHS&S Management Information Systems and sustainable EHS programs. Possess a diverse client portfolio which includes clients from the oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, energy, power, utilities, mining, hi-tech, or food and beverage markets.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies in EHS&S Management Information Systems software solutions. Successful hands on experience with Enablon, Sphera, SAP, Intelex, Cority, or other related EHS&S software systems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, and book personal sales in new Digital Systems consulting services within the EHSM domains.
• Recognized technical expertise and established reputation in the local marketplace.
• Ability to travel as needed.
