This is a full-time hybrid role based in London and is open to some remote work. Job Description

HR Restructuring: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR restructuring plan to align with the company's strategic objectives. This includes redefining roles, responsibilities, and team structures within the HR department.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a CHRO or senior HR leadership role in a similar industry, with a track record of successful restructuring and organizational transformation.
Strong understanding of the online gaming sector and its unique HR challenges.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations.
Experience with HR technology and systems implementation.
Able to read and write Chinese is a must.

Our team of physical technical consultants leads work specifically related to changing climate patterns and trends, and how these impact our clients’ businesses. Across the team, there is extensive expertise linked to the assessment of climate-related data (acute and chronic event types), assessments of risk and opportunity including the use of advanced risk assessment techniques, financial modelling, climate change adaptation, and reporting.

An opportunity has emerged for a candidate to join this part of the team as a Managing Consultant. Whilst the role is focused on physical climate risk, it will require the successful candidate to support our clients across climate risk and opportunity, as a project manager and technical leader, with the potential also to take on people and team leadership roles over time. Role Description & Key Responsibilities

As a Managing Consultant within our physical climate area of CROA you will act as a lead on our work for clients on climate risk but also frequently ‘deep dive’ in to physical climate subject matter, working closely with our team of technical consultants. Some key parts of the expected role will include:

• We will offer the opportunity to act as a project manager, acting as the focal point for our work with clients, particularly across corporate sectors. Working in collaboration with a Partner in Charge, you would act as the day to day contact and director of our work, leading teams and delivering proposals and project deliverables to clients. Projects typically extend across climate risk and opportunity, and for the right individual this offers the chance to act as a go-to advisor to ERM’s key clients. More specifically the role will include:
  • Leading the analysis of physical climate data from multiple sources (including the IPCC) using ERM’s proprietary digital platform, and ensuring that these and other outputs enable our clients to meet assessment and disclosure needs;
  • Overseeing the preparation of reports, workshop materials, presentations, and technical summaries; and
  • Leading and supporting partners and teams to develop proposals, including for clients across a wide range of sectors.
• The role will also include a significant element of technical leadership, acting in an advisory capacity to both ERM personnel and clients on how to assess, manage and disclose climate-related risks. This could include but not be limited to hazard data and assessment (including use of scenarios), development of climate processes, financial quantification, preparation of annual and other reporting and other topics.
• ERM continues to invest significantly in its digital and practical service development and deployment. The CROA team is amongst the most involved in this globally with multiple team members ‘seconded in’ to support. It is very likely that the candidate would work on this either regularly or occasionally, for example building solutions which enable our clients to analyse financial impacts of risks and opportunities. It is also typical for projects to include innovation during delivery, and the candidate will be expected to bring this within their work.

Person Specification

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Manager (Temporary 12 months) in our London office.

Department Overview:

The HR Operations provides First Point of Contact - Generalist HR assistance to the Specific Markets. This includes overseeing the timely administration of new starter contracts, leavers, letters, timely and accurate coordination of payroll processes for the Region, sickness and holiday administration, maintaining HRIS database / spreadsheets, and advising the business on common ER queries in line with local HR policies. What You’ll Do:

You will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer service to employees and business stakeholders. The role is an exciting opportunity to provide input to a range of high profile projects for Clients, aimed primarily at helping them identify and assess their major hazard risks, ensure they meet regulatory compliance, and offering solutions as to how they may reduce their risks further.

• Experience working in high hazard sites and specifically experience with COMAH and / or offshore safety case projects would be highly desirable.

• Develop tools and processes that will be used by other members of the team. Experience in software such as use of macros in excel, PowerBI and coding would be highly desirable.

• Implement hazard identification techniques and risk assessment. Ability to read engineering drawings (e.g. Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs) would be required.

• Have experience in workshops including HAZID, HAZOP and SIL. The ideal candidate will have experience chairing some of these workshops and be keen to develop this skill.

• Provide technical insight and review, to ensure that the quality of project deliverables represent ERM standards and are in line with client needs.

• You must have a desire to be involved in business development, to foster relationships with existing and new clients. Previous experience in being involved in business development is desired.
