Doctor of Nursing Practice
Requirements for the positions are:
Unrestricted California RN/APRN license
Unrestricted RN/APRN license in practice state
Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP preferred)
A minimum of 1 year precepting or on-line teaching experience with nursing students
The ability to create and maintain an environment that emphasizes learning and encourages free discussion of ideas and critical thinking
Current nursing practice experience
Location: Remote from any of the following states – Alabama, Arizona, California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin
The following salary range reflects compensation paid for a 3-unit course (101.25 hours) and varies based on the faculty member’s course assignment (see the full Adjunct Compensation Policy for details including varying credit levels):
All course sections are taught online via Blackboard. Synchronous lectures, when required, are held Monday-Thursday on Zoom starting between 3-7pm PST.
Contracts are 10 weeks (1 week designated for prep, 8 weeks of instruction, 1 week for processing final grades).
