Health & Safety Advisor (H&S)
Build Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety (H&S) Advisor, to join the estates team covering a large property in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Advisor
• Overseeing Health and Safety Auditing, Systems and Reporting functions, providing specialist advice, technical guidance and support
• Overall responsibility for the coordination of H&S Audit and Systems planning and delivery arrangements
• To produce H&S reports and action plans and subsequently to negotiate and advise on any necessary actions
• Coordinating and supporting the development and implementation of new Health and Safety digital systems
Requirements of the Health & Safety Advisor
• Experience of BS ISO 45001:2018 Occupational health and safety management systems
• IOSH & NEBOSH certificate
About You as the Health & Safety Advisor
• Extensive professional experience in the application of Health and Safety Auditing, Management Systems and providing commercially aware Health & Safety Advice within commercial / private / public sector
• Organised, with previous position in a client-facing role
• Experience of investigation and reporting on significant incidents and accidents and undertaking compliance audits
