Information
Wiltshire College & University Centre is committed to Safeguarding. We recruit in line with the Safer Recruitment Guidance set out by the Department for Education in 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This includes carrying out an enhanced DBS check (which the College will pay for), including an enhanced children's barred list check and other employment checks, which include a search of the online presence of shortlisted candidates.
At Wiltshire College & University Centre we value diversity, and we recognise that people with different backgrounds bring different perspectives, ideas, knowledge, and culture, and that this difference brings great strength. We are committed to the protection of young people and vulnerable adults and to safeguarding and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We are proudly accredited to the Disability Confident Employer award, part of this means a commitment to interview all disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria for a job vacancy and consider them on their abilities.
