Our Entertainment Team Managers are responsible for the organisation, logistics and daily delivery of our Haven Entertainment proposition.

Working alongside the park Head of Activities, Entertainment Teams Managers are required to engage and inspire their cast members to ensure standard operating procedures are adhered to, targets are achieved and that they are driving continuous improvement.

Mechanical Design Engineer
Ripon area, up to 40k, Life cover, travel payments, pension

Growing engineering company seek a Design Engineer to work in their busy drawing office producing both standard and bespoke designs for sheet metal fabrications. We seek someone with exposure to sheet metal design, a mechanical bias and confident 3D design skills. We are happy to consider people wishing to relocate to the area.

The role of Mechanical Design Engineer includes:
·Producing 2 & 3D designs for manufacture
·Working with the shop floor to overcome design and fabrication issues
·Working on existing products to improve or alter existing designs
·Mechanical calculations
·Producing BOM's
·Once fully conversant with the existing product range you will have the opportunity to work on new product designs

Mechanical Design Engineer
·Ideally come from a sheet metal fabrication background anyone who has progressed up from the shop floor is of particular interest
·Be fully conversant with 3D Design packages ideally inventor
·Ideally have worked with CAD/ CAM software such at Radan
·Hold a relevant mechanical engineering qualification
·Be looking for a long term career with a successful engineering organisation
·Have your own transport or be willing to relocate to the local area
·Have experience of producing designs and calculations for manufacture

What will I be doing?

As the Entertainment Manager at Nidd Hall, you will be responsible for the delivery of performances and activities, we offer our guests.

Not only will you schedule and manage the diverse entertainment provision across multi venues on and off stage but will also assist the Entertainment Support Team in the development of the entertainment offering.

This position offers a confident graduate or an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer an exciting, challenging, and interesting role in an innovative company delivering specialist-engineered solutions to global customers. The role includes customer presentation, project management, research & development, building and test of both standard and new projects from initial brief through to production.

The Role:
Working closely with the engineering manager and the design team to develop new products to meet client specifications
Undertake re-engineering and improvements on existing products
Manage design projects into full production.
R & D, costings and after sales support
Building and testing of prototypes
Producing relevant quality and product documentation
Producing designs and drawings using SolidWorks
Undertaking analytical research, calculations, simulation and testing.
Working to ISO and industry quality standards

The Person:
A proven background in Mechanical Design ideally working with Solid Works
A confident understanding of manufacturing processes and system integration
The ability to manage your own projects
A Mechanical engineering degree or higher
Working knowledge of DFM & DFA practices
Confident knowledge of Electro-Mechanical design.
The ability to work in a rapid design and development environment

Electronic Design Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business as an electronics engineer with an enthusiasm for product design and testing This will entail carrying out consultancy projects and product development activities within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists working on a range of systems.

The role will include the commercialisation of technologies, including design, test and certification and production support. The location will be office-based Harrogate, North Yorkshire but will include occasional travel and site testing.
Electronics Engineer role and responsibilities:
* Electronics schematics and design (including PCB, firmware and wiring).
* Develop specifications and implement test plans to validate the functionality and reliability of designs.
* Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and test reports.
* Ensure that all designs meet the company's quality and reliability standards.
* Production support, product handover, and life cycle management.
* Debug and integration on a range of inspection and robotics products.
* Regulatory compliance and Technical constriction files and certification (i.e. EMC)
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
* Ensure implementation, adherence, and improvement of the internal design process.
* Work with project and business partners to improve departmental capabilities.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget.
* Strong Technical Report writing and presenting.
* Work within and take ownership of the OHSAS18001, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 and PAS99 processes within the operational side of the business.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
* HNC /HND / BEng / MEng or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
* Track record in design and development, particularly in commercial products.
* Experience leading projects from concept to production, including project management, design reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Proficiency in schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection.
* Demonstrable experience prototyping, testing, and debugging electronic products.
* In-depth understanding of regulatory standards and certifications relevant to electronic products.
* High level of proficiency in test and measurement.
* Strong practical capabilities. (Rework to 0402, comfortable with QFN is desirable)
* Demonstrable track record of CE/UKCA marking and product commercialisation.
