This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainer within the ICT Operations Department.

We are looking for an individual who exudes passion for their work, upholds a steadfast commitment to quality, excels in being meticulously organised and creating training and procedural documents, videos and e-learning, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, possesses the ability to inspire others, and exhibits top-notch interpersonal skills.
What will my working week look like?
You will be homebased, living within the North-West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to be able to deliver in house training courses and attend meetings when needed.
What will I be responsible for doing?
Your role in the Training team is not just important, it's crucial. Your creative flair and experience will be instrumental in developing clear and engaging face-to-face and webinar IT training and ‘how-to’ guides for colleagues within the business.
As part of your role, you will become a system expert on our Housing, Finance and Document Management systems, to ensure your colleagues have the knowledge and ability to enable them to make the most effective use of the Group’s IT resources and navigate the systems ensuring your colleagues can effectively deliver in their roles.
Don’t worry if you’ve not used these systems before; if you’re tech-savvy, you’ll soon pick them up. This role offers a great opportunity for learning and growth.
And what would make me stand out from the crowd?
To be a successful as Trainer, here at YHG, you will have…. extensive experience in delivering training and creating training and procedural materials. Your skillset should include:
• High levels of IT literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and attention to detail.
• Significant experience producing clear, well-structured training and procedural documents, videos, and e-learning content. It would be beneficial to have IT training experience.
• It is crucial for you to establish and maintain positive relationships within the group. Understanding your audience and confidently delivering webinars or face-to-face training is also essential for customers with varying IT literacy levels.
