We are recruiting for a Hygiene Manager to oversee the Hygiene requirements of our busy food production facility in Clitheroe.




Purpose of the role to take full management of the Hygiene Function and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, document
cleaning instructions and adhere to all cleaning schedules, whilst managing the hygiene team and carrying out training with them.




Responsible for:

* Hygiene Team Leaders (Nights)
* Hygiene Support (Engineering - Nights)
* Hygiene Operatives (Nights)
* Facility Cleaners (AM & PM)




Hours and salary:

39 hours per week

20:00 - 04:00

5 out of 7 days

Option to work a day shift, one day per week

Salary: £46,000 per annum

Key duties

* Ensure that all Health and Safety aspects of the role are adhered to in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety policy

* Responsible for all ‘people management aspects’ including development of the team and updating training records.
* Responsible for maintaining and updating the sites hygiene manual which includes:
* Cleaning work instructions for all hygiene tasks around the factory: work with Hygiene contractor to ensure this is correct,
valid and up to date
* Ensure all cleaning schedules are correct, valid and up to date, and that they are adhered to
* Development of safe systems of work
* Development of CIC cards for all new equipment brought to site
* Provide technical information as required by both internal and external customers
* Assist in the management of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) documentations (Health & Safety)
* Involvement in accident investigation reports
* Assisting Technical Team in Daily role
* Involvement in incident investigation to prevent re-occurrence.
* Management of the Consumables stocks (High Care PPE & Consumables)
* Involvement in preparing for BRC and other audits
* Involvement of continuous improvement project work in relation to site hygiene
* Carry out inspection sign offs following completion of process equipment cleaning / engineering maintenance




Qualifications:

* Level 2 & 3 Food Safety & Hygiene
* ESOL Level 2 or equivalent
* HACCP Level 2
* HACCP Level 3 (desirable)
* IOSH in Health & Safety principles (desirable)




Experience:

* Experience in a similar type of role in Food Manufacturing Industry
* Previous people management experience (Supervisory role)

The purpose of the Maintenance Engineer is to support the Engineering department to achieve effective and productive running of
the processes. Responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery and providing breakdown and maintenance cover on
a varied range of machinery.

Current Engineering Team:

4 Hygiene Support on nights who help dismantle and reassemble machinery.

Bias is electrical knowledge: small 3 phase/single phase, servo, stepper motors, inverters and servo drives. An advantage would be
load cells, multihead weighing and sensor technology, including laser and ultrasonic. We would accept 60/40.

Ideal candidates will have multi-skilled engineering experience as well as experience in the food sector being preferable. They
will be a self-motivated individual with well-developed interpersonal skills, who is confident with factory teams. The key is an
understanding of process. We have a mixture of auto lines and manual lines and many changes – we package over 200 SKUs.

Location: Clitheroe

Hours: Days/Nights rotation (3 on 3 off shift pattern) - 6am-6pm / 6pm - 6am (Saturday nights off)

Salary: £48,000 per annum

Overtime: Overtime will be available to cover holidays and absence. Overtime paid at 150%



Key Duties:

* Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and practice
* Perform reactive and proactive maintenance on a variety of packaging and process equipment
* Carry out regular maintenance, PPMs and reactive, where directed
* Troubleshoot breakdowns across a range of equipment to provide minimal downtime
* Support Line Leaders and Production to facilitate production efficiency
* Perform ancillary building maintenance around the site and outlying buildings
* Maintain documentation to provide historical records of breakdowns and PPMs
* Ensure all required paperwork is kept maintained and up to date throughout the department.
* Involvement with a number of projects from machinery upgrades to building work
* Identify spares requirements and maintain stock levels as needed
* Operate in a safe manner, ensuring at all times, any risk to self and others, is kept to a minimum
* Work with production to facilitate optimum running time of lines
* Communicate technical & operational issues, quickly & effectively to relevant departments
* Attend meetings and deputize for the Senior Engineer when needed
* Lead projects and improvements and meet due dates

Your Duties Will Include:

* To check that all cleaning equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately at the end of each shift
* Conducting routine checks of all areas once all cleaning has been completed to ensure that the areas are left clean, tidy, and
as dry as possible
* To communicate effectively with the teams, your line manager and other key functions on site, for example planning,
engineering, operations and technical helping create safe, efficient, and deliverable schedules to maximise hygiene standards
whilst minimising the impact on equipment availability
* Ensure regular safety inspections and audits are undertaken to check that the Health & Safety rules and procedures are fully

Senior Commercial Manager - Chilled Food/Top 4 Retailers

Location: Redhill, Surrey UK (Hybrid – 2-3 days from home)

Are you a passionate, results-driven Commercial Manager with a strong track record in the chilled food sector? Do you have
experience managing high-level relationships with the UK's top retailers, such as Sainsbury, Tesco, Waitrose etc? If so, we want

The Role:As Senior Commercial Manager, you'll take the lead in managing our key commercial relationship with one of the Top 4 UK
retailers. You’ll be the linchpin between our business and theirs, driving commercial strategy, supply chain integration, and New
Product Development (NPD) to maximize growth and profitability. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that will see you working
closely with our Customer Director and cross-functional teams to deliver revenue and margin growth for both our business and the
retailer.

Line Leader (Nights) – Chilled Food Manufacturing

Location: Clitheroe
Shift: Night Shift - Sunday to Thursday, 10pm - 6am, 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for Line Leaders, with a background in machine operating, to join our brand new night shift at our Clitheroe site.
You will be part of a team of skilled operatives, ensuring that our factory runs efficiently and we achieve production targets.

What you will be doing:

* Complete pre-start checks on the line ensuring compliance.
* Setup Labellers/Sealing machines/oil depositors/multipond and meat slicers in the correct manner to prevent damage or downtime.
* Able to perform changeovers/cleaning in the allocated time frame and to the correct quality standards as laid out by the
business policies and procedures.
* Able to read and understand the production plan.
* Able to complete relevant paperwork needed to maintain the line and it's legal requirements.

Effective completion and maintenance of Customer Specifications and portal systems in line with customer category plans and
Compleat Food Group agenda.

* Responsible for the completion of all customer specifications in totality including areas of raw materials, packaging and
legality.
* Specification information is accurately written and updated as dictated by the business in a timely manner in line with
customer critical paths and group level projects.
* Works alongside Procurement, Technical, Development & Packaging to ensure that these teams have acquired and maintained
accurate raw material and packaging supplier information so that the information in the customer specification is up to date
and accurate.
* General housekeeping is maintained including management of the specification administration process from concept, through to
delist.
* Follow assigned critical paths for the delivery of customer specifications and flag if there are concerns in hitting deadlines
* Support the checking of documentation required to attach on to customer specifications as attachments.
* Conduct annual specification reviews across on your dedicated site & customer specifications.
* Ensures the portal system site contacts are kept up to date
* Brief the relevant stakeholder on all relevant online alerts, policies and procedures for approval and awareness.



Legal:

Adhere to latest labelling guidelines / Customer codes of practice

* Have working knowledge of relevant customer policies and procedures.
* Good working knowledge and practice of latest customer / legislative guidelines
* Information is completed in accordance with the customer requirements and policies, and legal requirements.
* Good understanding of Meat labelling Regulations (if required)



Verify:

Complete documentation in support of the product development team and wider business when required.

* Support the specification & development teams to provide information for relevant trackers as required to support in the
management of NPD/EPD or customer projects
* Support development managers and chefs in recipe formulation, legal labelling, QUIDs and submission forms when required .
* Support on Recipe Professor where required.
* Work to jointly agreed critical path timings.



Launch:

Support artwork process and lead at site level in order to produce legal packaging in line with Compleat, retailer and industry
standards.

* Support the PD team in the approval process of all customer artworks.
* Supports the Project manager in ensuring the critical path for the artwork process is maintained and highlights if there is a
risk to a project.
* Support the artwork checking process at site is fully adhered to and that artwork fully complies with customer and legal
requirements.
* Upload of approval comments onto the relevant artwork portal system and to notify when new artwork is ready for approval in a
timely manner if relevant.
* Supports the upload of cutter guides and information for primary packaging as supplied by the packaging technologist to
customer artwork portals.
* Liaise with artwork service providers as necessary
* Maintains internal artwork folders (physical and electronic), ensuring the most up to date artwork is available.
* Track artwork costs and Debit Notes where required.
* Demonstrate ability to communicate with various teams as required by manager
* Communication with the customer technologist to sign off artwork / specifications as required.
* Support artwork meetings and as necessary internal customer meetings.
* Support in customer/audit visits to site from a customer specification perspective
* Work to technical documents and procedures.
* Work closely with the team of specification technologists/ Managers.
* Appropriate communication (written and verbal) to teams and team members.
* Attend relevant meetings, to communicate relevant information regarding current/new products when required.
* Promote safe working across site and advice immediately on unsafe work practices.
* May be required to carry out projects within the Compleat Food Group.

Key Tasks:

* Collect the weekly raw material and packaging information and compile a KPI dashboard
* Co-ordinate stats and data, produce a report to highlight any potential inefficiencies within the process.
* Help to create a more accurate efficiency reporting system.
* Run the payroll reports to check overtime and staff reporting issues.
* Check run-rates / templates and look to implement a target run-rate system so that efficiency is reported to a target of 100%.
Show the real losses of line time and the effect on capacity.
* Work with Payroll and the T&A system, Identify long term agency workers who can be taken on permanently.
* Assist in the creation of site based KPI’s. Compile, analyse and present to site Operation’s teams - track trends and identify
potential issues
* Identify missing stock – reconcile deliveries to production.
* Record giveaways and waste and report on issues.
* Run a work-order report to see the production numbers for the day/week.
* Create KPI dashboards to track efficiencies, raw materials and yields.
* Attend weekly meetings with Site Management to explain trends within data analysis
