We are currently seeking a proficient Consulting Arborist to become a valuable member of our team. The position entails offering consulting services in tree biology, VTA, species identification, and pricing recommendations for tree operations. As a Consulting Arborist, you will assume a pivotal role in client support and management, project organization, and the compilation of tree systems and data. Additionally, you will have the chance to deliver training to clients and provide them with professional arboricultural advice.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Prepare regular reports for management regarding sales activities, projects, and service delivery.

What you will do to be successful in this role

• Hold a minimum of an Australian recognized Cert 5 in Arboriculture or above.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in consulting arborist roles.
• Possess sound technical skills in tree biology, VTA, species identification, and remedial tree works.
• Demonstrate accurate pricing knowledge for tree operations and excellent CRM skills.
• Show proficiency in IT and report writing.
• Display commercial acumen and motivation to contribute to the growth of the consulting arm of the business.
• Hold risk assessment qualifications such as QTRA and/or TRAQ (Mandatory).
• Maintain a good level of physical fitness and mobility to conduct tree assessments.

Role Purpose

To accurately and completely process, reconcile and report all cash transactions for multiple companies within the Group in multiple currencies. To maintain all data and systems related to banking receipts and payments.

Principal Accountabilities

• Daily reconciliation of all bank accounts

• Monthly completion and posting of all cash transactions including cash allocations on accounts payable ledger.

• Raising payments of all outgoing transactions

• Maintenance of accurate and up to date information on banking portals

• Balance sheet control reconciliations

• Other ad hoc tasks as required by the Bank & Cashier Supervisor

Essential Competencies

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in similar role

• Previous experience in broad finance role, with knowledge of cash cycle and manual reconciliation of balances

• Knowledge of accounts receivable and payable functions

• Ability to operate under, and achieve, strict timescales (daily and monthly cycles)

• Proven ability to collate and process information completely and accurately

• Intermediate excel skills

• Very numerate and ability to expose and correct errors or imbalances

• Ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

• Flexible, self motivated and ability to work autonomously

• Meticulous in their focus on detail

• Bring your knowledge & expertise when it comes to designing & managing containerised applications using Docker - ensuring scalability & reliability of applications (integration & deployment - as well as optimising containers for performance)
• Be one of our highly regarded Docker go to experts - you'll effectively manage Docker images, security standards and performance issues 
• Bring your system design knowledge and successfully deploy infrastructure stacks for Platform-related services as they are built using Terraform and Ansible

Role Purpose

Day to day processing of Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring accuracy, validity. Gaining approval, completing queries and reconciliations, and proposing payment runs.

Principal Accountabilities

· Checking validity and authorisation of invoices to ensure compliance with company policy. · Maintenance of supplier details · Chasing up unauthorised invoices and follow up on queries · Control Processing of invoices / credit notes · Inter company trading cross charges. · Production of regular supplier reconciliations · Deal with all suppliers queries and payment requests · Production of detailed control log of certain types of expenditure · Ongoing analysis of specific expenditure codes for audit / tax purposes. · Month end reconciliations. · Operating as a team member covering and assisting in other roles during periods of sickness or holidays and other peak times. · Participate in implementation of revised procedures and new systems.

Essential Competencies

· 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role is essential · To work as a team member · Attention to detail is an essential quality. · Have an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. · Effective communication skills, written and verbal, with suppliers , management and all work colleagues . · Be numerate and have good keyboard skills. · Basic skills of all Microsoft products, Word, Excel and e-mail

· Ability to work in a busy, changing environment without constant supervision.
