Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
2. Capable of operating electronic devices, such as hydroponics systems, aquaponics, and other science-related equipment.
3. Able to perform gardening tasks, including weeding, planting, and watering.
4. Ideally, have over 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a school setting.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Martia Road.

Contract Period: From 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025

Option to Extend: From 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 1:30pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
• Fridays: 7:30am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

The service required are set out as follows :

1. Assist in the daily operations of the assigned science laboratories, science gardens, aquaponics, hydroponics and pond.
2. Responsible for the setup, clean up and general maintenance of the science laboratories and Science Areas.
3. Responsible for the cleanliness of the Recycling Corner.
4. Assist in preparation of laboratory apparatus, equipment and teaching materials for scheduled laboratory activities.
5. Assist in stock taking exercise and maintenance of equipment.
6. Typing of worksheets and notes.
7. Supporting and assisting in departmental events, activities and programmes.
8. Any other duties assigned by the School.

The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Able to make use of Microsoft word / excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint
• Able to operate electronic devices eg. hydroponics sets, aquaponics and other devices relating to Science
• To be able to do gardening (weeding, planting and watering)
• Preferably with more than 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position and in a school environment
