The Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability.
In Asia Pacific, Managed Services is the execution arm of VCA. Our teams (also known as squads) are embedded on client sites; leading long-term engagements and delivering value primarily through implementation and execution services. We deliver objectives from a shared value agenda, effectively becoming the enablers and trusted strategic advisors for our clients.
What a Sr. Business Analyst does at Visa:
As the Sr. Business Analyst, you will lead and oversee a delivery squad of software engineers. Your team will work within one of our key issuing partner’s environments helping them to deliver digital capabilities which enable best in class customer experiences for their end users.
You will:
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end client delivery program.
- Build strong relationships with clients to deeply understand their business and challenges
- Engage with business users at different levels to understand Compliance business needs, analyze, document, evaluate, prioritize the requirements and make recommendations on the solution.
- Drive, develop and maintain project deliverables that support the Compliance program, including functional/non-functional specifications, data mapping/transformation, solution design, process diagram, acceptance criteria, UAT scripts and other project artifacts.
- Analyze/document current and future business process models, high-level requirements (scope), and detailed functional specifications and/or stories, communicate to the lead developers and extended team effectively for technical development, testing and implementation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technology and process gaps, identify areas of improvement, design solutions, implement technology features, and support data analytics program.
- Drive and execute functional design, testing, change management and end user acceptance for projects and enhancements as needed using structured programming skills, including program testing and debugging techniques.
- Provide functional leadership during technology enhancements/upgrades/ implementations, work as a liaison with various business/technical partners.
- Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries
- Integrate strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional collaboration to drive Compliance strategy, lead business process analysis and drive innovation for end-to-end solution and business results.
- Perform checks and audits of various systems and data sources to identify and implement operational excellence and control needs. Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues.
- Participate in cross-functional stakeholder communications, send status reports by preparing materials, facilitating sessions and documenting outcomes.
- Work in a highly collaborative environment and develop effective relationships with business and IT stakeholders.

This role will play a critical role in helping to architect Managed Services, a new business line which is in high demand from our clients. Once established in our initial clients, this role will support the scaling of these services across AP. Initially this role will lead and oversee a significant strategic project that will help solve some of our client’s most important challenges.
