RESPONSIBILITIES

Role Overview:

The Market Research Fieldwork Operations & Logistics Executive will play a critical role in supporting the execution of fieldwork projects and maintaining our high standards of operational excellence. You will work closely with suppliers, project managers, and research teams to ensure efficient logistics and facilitate smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Fieldwork Component

• Co-ordination of fieldwork in Market.  Attending fieldwork tests where required.
• Supplier relationship management – communications, supplier meetings, rate card negotiations, supporting co-ordination and resolution of resource conflicts, invoice queries, maintenance of internal databases, etc[LR1] .
• Scan the regional marketplace for new fieldwork suppliers / new capabilities.

RFQ Support

• The role is not expected to assume a heavy responsibility for covering RFQ processing but during peak times support may be needed so training will be provided.

Logistics component

• Product Sourcing: Online, wholesale and in-store.  Co-ordinate deliveries to specified locations, or working with suppliers to source product as applicable.
• Check in goods, maintain accurate records, maintain product/shipment quality
• Manage local 3rd parties (couriers)
• Liaison with local & regional authorities regarding permits etc
• Ordering consumables (boxes, tape etc)
• Preparation of products for collection by couriers, packing, labelling etc

• Proven experience in fieldwork operations or logistics management, preferably within a market research environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd/3rd line support, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

• Drive sales growth and create a consistent sales and delivery experience for our customers across the globe
• Lead the commercial business (through Sales) in the areas of responsibility to ensure that Insights is recognised as a people development partner of choice
• Lead sales meetings for all of APAC
• Local leadership, operational management responsibility for the employees and office within your area of responsibility ensuring that each individual has a connection to the Insights community within their home country/ office as well as on a global/ functional basis.  
• Actively support the deployment of Global Sales Strategy across Asia acting as delegate for the Head of Asia Pacific when necessary and hold a key role within the matrix model in the region that you are responsible for
• Achieve agreed revenue and territory gross profit targets within your regional clients                                                         
•  Lead and coach aligned, motivated and high performing sales teams within your countries of responsibility and be recognised as a people development partner by our clients
• Liaise with the Marketing team to build brand equity, awareness and create solutions business development opportunities that drives sales within your areas of responsibility
•  Accountability for the budgeting process aligned to global strategy and relevant business plans and focus on deploying proper sales operational processes and reporting
• Forge strong partnerships across the Insights network and take a proactive approach to sharing best practice

Responsibilities

Work with a team of analysts to ensure prompt delivery of service to responsible clients to achieve the set financial objectives and other operational performance indicators.

• To assist the senior member to identify a new business opportunity in the industry
• Prepares client proposals and study designs and estimates costs of projects, with supervision
• Constructs and implements the analytical plan
• Develop study design, and questionnaires, and discuss analytical plans with the modeling team
• Monitors changes in job costs and communicates cost changes to client, as needed
• Run market simulations, analyze study data, and provides report conclusions and recommendations, with minimal supervision
• Prepares and presents study results to clients
• Consults with clients regarding research designs and general study concerns
• Supervises direct reports by answering questions, providing constructive and consistent feedback, and conducting performance appraisals in a timely manner

Client servicing

• Undertake sales activities in conjunction with the commercial team in terms of preparation and delivery of proposals and credentials
• Work with the Customer Success team on analysis to drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews
• Ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while meeting the company's quality standards
• Identify and recommend enhanced and new services that answer clients' business needs
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the identified key persons within the client organization
