Job Description:

• Takes charge of the entire engineering department, leading a team as they complete various projects
• To assist in site supervision works
• Coordinate internally with inter-department and externally with clients & consultants
• Coordinating for the project planning, documentation, and execution of works on-site
• Coordination, supervision & monitoring of the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering
• Coordinate with the contractor and suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required
• Produce weekly site progress reports and necessary submission
• Attend meetings, and conduct site inspections on work progress to ensure quality control in accordance with authority requirements.
• To carry out daily implementation of works at the site with assistance from fellow supervisors and foremen.
• To plan and ensure all implementations are carried out in accordance with the Construction program.
• Carry out daily discussions with the project team and fellow colleagues to ensure works are carried out smoothly and no re-work or clashes with other trade works.
• Study all related construction drawings and prepare and raise any RFI’s required early before implementation of the actual works.
• To prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure the smooth transition of works.
• Ensure all necessary inspections in accordance with the client’s requirements are carried out accordingly, correctly, and timely.
• The plan and sequences of the construction operations are in accordance with the Project Quality Plan. Attends all necessary site progress meetings, and internal meetings as & when required.
• Keep track of submission status like shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements & all other technical submissions.
• To carry out resource planning, machinery allocations, and equipment management on a day-to-day basis to ensure works at the site are carried out smoothly.
• Coordinates and maintains constant communications with fellow colleagues from other departments like architectural, technical, and planning.
• Liaise with the client’s supervisory department for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports, and maintaining necessary records at the site.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• More than 10 years of working experience in the related field is required
• Proficient with AutoCAD and other office software
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• Work closely with the project team to resolve technical issues
• Good attitude and communication skills
• Need to be stationed at the site (Jurong East)
• Willing to work 6 days at the project site
• Experience in LTA projects is required
• Experience with high-rise buildings would be advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Equipped with leadership skills in which able to lead the engineers in completing the jobs

• You will determine the necessity for engineering projects to be included in repair, alteration, and new construction programs.
• You will ensure that their projects are designed to meet the latest state of the art criteria and meet all operations.
• You will design and prepare plans and specifications for a wide variety of mechanical engineering facilities which involve unusual problems having no definite precedent to aid in their solution.
• You will be responsible for coordinating their projects from their beginning to completion.
• You will make on-site field investigations to determine the full extent of any problems that may be encountered for their projects.

As a Validation Engineer, you play a pivotal role in our organization by ensuring that each product release surpasses quality expectations. Your responsibilities encompass understanding potential system failures, designing validation scenarios, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Acting as a gatekeeper in a dynamic product cycle, you will independently plan and execute tests, maintain automation scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently plan and draft test specifications, methods, and instructions against product hardware and software performance requirements.
• Maintain, update, and develop test automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency, data collection, and analysis.
• Oversee Product Design Validation, Testing, and Documentation to ensure alignment with internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on test equipment setup, availability, and specifications.
• Manage the entire testing process, from planning and development to execution, inspections, root cause analysis, documentation, and failure analysis.
• Develop and maintain validation schedules, coordinate test resources, and communicate status/blockers to program managers.
• Conduct ad-hoc troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of test robots.
• Analyze system requirements and implement system verification tests.
• Provide feedback to product and system design/development teams.
• Develop new test methodologies and specify test fixtures.
• Execute system tests manually and using developed automated tests.
• Guide, develop, and supervise junior engineers in verification activities.
• Follow test processes and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent experience in electronic engineering, software, or a comparable engineering discipline.
• Basic working understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Embedded C, SQL, and/or Python is advantageous.
• Knowledge in developing Proof of Concepts is preferred.
• Assertive and creative individual with excellent problem-solving skills, able to thrive in a highly ambitious and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary, Agile team, using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Experience with NI or other remotely controlled instrumentation.
• Knowledge or experience working with sensors/actuators is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to experts in different fields.
