Project Engineer - The role
* Using the companies manufacturing centres based in Europe for supply of the main equipment and sourcing ancillary equipment locally, you are required to supervise and co-ordinate project planning, design, procurement, build, subcontractors, installation works, despatch to site and commissioning.
* Projects typically range in value between £30k - £2m and may involve equipment supply only, supply and installation, special skid-built equipment and turnkey projects. In most cases, the company's own Service Division will be utilised to carry out the commissioning of each project.

Reporting to the Contracts / Process Engineering Divisional Manager your key responsibilities are as follows:-

Project Engineer - Key responsibilities
* Take overall responsibility for the supervision and administration of the day-to-day activities and coordination of multiple contracts from point of order to final commissioning and handover
* Supervise and co-ordinate planning, design, procurement, build, subcontractors, installation works, despatch to site and commissioning.
* Ensure accurate data is assembled and recorded to enable the procurement and manufacture of equipment to fulfil contractual requirements.
* Control and manage the contractual and commercial requirements of the project.
* Maintain clear liaison between customers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure contract requirements are met with regards to quality, time and budget.
* Ensure contract financial requirements are adhered to within the time scales specified.

Project Engineer - Experience
Experience is sought within the plant and process engineering field.
Ideal experience would be from within the mechanical contracting services or process engineering with specific reference to steam or high temperature process heating applications.
Additionally:
* Proficiency with MS Office suite of applications.
* NetSuite and Salesforce experience. (Ideal but not essential)
* A track record in working on technology orientated, multi-disciplinary projects.
* Excellent organisational and multi-tasking ability.

Project Engineer - Qualifications

Mechanical Package Engineer - What we are looking for

A mid-level to senior mechanical engineer within the process industry with a minimum of five years proven industry skills and work experience. You will join the Equipment Engineering department working on various process equipment packages for the production of renewable gases. Process equipment packages consist of various components coupled together to achieve a specified function within a process system (such as water purification, sea-water injection, desalination, crude oil distillation etc…)

In order to maintain the functionality, performance and reliability of a process system, every component included in the Package (e.g. pump, compressor, valve, pressure vessel, electric motor, Instrument, control system, etc…) will need to be specified accordingly.

Mechanical Pacakage Engineer - Responsibilities

The Package engineers' main objective will be a complete ownership of these various multidisciplinary units/equipment procured to build the system and sub-system packages. Ensuring the units/equipment selected are verified, certified, qualified, meets all statutory obligations and are fit for purpose for the life expectancy of the packaged system based on the contractual agreement. The package unit engineer shall also prepare the right technical documentation (datasheets and specification) of equipment to support proposals, FEED, detailed engineering and prototype test rigs.

Key interactions of the Package unit engineer are internally with project teams, procurement dept., compliance dept. quality dept. and other engineering disciplines. Externally with clients, vendors, suppliers and participate in bid clarification meetings.

About You

Mechanical Package Engineer - Knowledge and Experience

* Bachelor's or Master's degree level or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering
* 5+ years' working experience in handling Packages like Chemical process packages, Cooling Tower, Water treatment packages, Material handling system equipment, compressor packages
* Competent with industry standards including ability to carry out calculations to BS, EN, ISO, ASME, API, etc…
* Good understanding of ATEX directives, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and Machinery Directive
* Ability to understand and review supplier documentation such as ITP's FAT's SAT's, test reports and interpret mill certificate, product certification etc…
* Solid experience of the design, selection and specification of all process system equipment i.e. pumps, vessels, heat exchangers, pipework, valves and fittings etc…
* Ability to understand, interpret and produce engineering documentation i.e. P&ID's, PFD's, engineering drawings, performance graphs, datasheets, specifications

Mechanical Package Engineer - What we are looking for

A mid-level to senior mechanical engineer within the process industry with a minimum of five years proven industry skills and work experience. You will join the Equipment Engineering department working on various process equipment packages for the production of renewable gases. Process equipment packages consist of various components coupled together to achieve a specified function within a process system (such as water purification, sea-water injection, desalination, crude oil distillation etc…)

In order to maintain the functionality, performance and reliability of a process system, every component included in the Package (e.g. pump, compressor, valve, pressure vessel, electric motor, Instrument, control system, etc…) will need to be specified accordingly.

Mechanical Pacakage Engineer - Responsibilities

The Package engineers' main objective will be a complete ownership of these various multidisciplinary units/equipment procured to build the system and sub-system packages. Ensuring the units/equipment selected are verified, certified, qualified, meets all statutory obligations and are fit for purpose for the life expectancy of the packaged system based on the contractual agreement. The package unit engineer shall also prepare the right technical documentation (datasheets and specification) of equipment to support proposals, FEED, detailed engineering and prototype test rigs.
