The Substance Abuse Treatment Program Supervisor holds administrative and clinical responsibility for the Substance Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) at the Mann-Grandstaff VAMC. The principal clinical role of the Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) is to provide integrated mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment for Veterans with comorbid disorders who receive care in the SATP and other programs within the Behavioral Health Service (BHS) or Mann-Grandstaff Veterans Administration Medical Center (MGMC).

Functions and Scope:

• Directs the day-to-day clinical and administrative activities of the SATP team. Coordinates assignments and work duties. Clinically supervises work of addiction therapists.
• Monitors program operations and outcomes, making changes to clinical interventions, documentation of care, program materials, team work assignments, schedules, outreach activities, and other program elements in order to maintain outcomes of the highest quality.

Makes significant recommendations to change, interpret, or develop important or innovative policies affecting the process and funding of acquisitions from and relating to the area of the section's responsibility.  Oversees staff making authoritative recommendations for the acquisition of material in all languages, formats, and subjects of relevance to the study of the region, including legal, audiovisual, and electronic items.

Plans and produces public programs, exhibits, seminars, and colloquia on the region, bringing attention to research developments and collections of interest to both scholars and the general public. Under the guidance of the Division Chief, may be responsible for cultivating relations with potential donors and securing funds for acquisitions, public programs, exhibits, and other activities related to the section's geographic area.

Reviews and analyzes major issues in information research and dissemination as they apply to providing information about the region. Provides highly specialized research for the use of Congressional clients, the courts, national security agencies and other researchers inside and outside the Library.

Performs various other duties as assigned.

• You will provide utilities infrastructure management and serve as the technical authority for utilities water commodity at NAVFAC HQ.
• You will work with Operations representatives from the Public Works Business Line's four major Product lines: Facility Sustainment, FSC Management and Facilities Services, Utilities and Energy Management and Transportation.
• You will develop policy and guidance for effective utility commodity (water and infrastructure) management and for leading the resolution of enterprise-wide utility operational issues.
• You will serve as the technical subject matter expert for utilities issues and will be expected to respond to inquiries from Congress, OSD, OASN, HWMC, and CNIC.
• You will conduct program assessments, develop strategies, reviews business case studies, and evaluate process improvements to reduce cost and improve business processes.
