The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• The incumbent assists management in formulating internal labor policies consistent with labor-management

Independently plans and conducts investigations relating to staff improprieties.

Monitors and/or conducts investigations involving allegations of staff misconduct.

Analyzes data and information received by the Office of Internal Affairs concerning allegations.

Analyzes policies and procedures based on results of investigation, and is responsible for drafting proposed revisions to existing program statements or drafting proposed language for new program statements or operations memorandum.

Receives and loads vending items for delivery to vending machine locations.  Drives motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 10,000 pounds over public roads at highway speeds under all traffic conditions to transport merchandise.  May be required to make limited emergency repairs to vehicle and change tires.  Removes aged food or other merchandise from machines; replenish merchandise; and make appropriate notations on required documents.  Monitors brands and sale prices to ensure adequate stocking levels and compliance with approved selling prices. Cleans interior and exterior of machines to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.  May make minor repairs such as removing coins that have "jammed" or clearing dispensing paths. Collects money and turns in to the supervisor or designated cashier upon end of route.  May help vending machine repairer in the maintenance and repair of vending machines.

Major duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Responds to all callers' needs with appropriate reply (s) including but not limited to, fielding questions, facilitating scheduling of patients, returning patient calls as needed, taking messages, etc. Must have thorough knowledge of all Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Service clinics.
• Completes appropriate forms and works with BDMS clerical staff to schedule/cancel patient appointments. Schedules patients based on pre-determined prioritization criteria. Must be able to understand the criteria and apply the knowledge correctly.
• Notifies patients of rescheduled appointments if necessary. Prepares new patient forms for each clinic day. Maintains files with efficiency; filing, routing, and culling as necessary. Prepares documents as needed, i.e., reports, exercise handouts.
• Independently orders needed supplies and restocks clinic rooms as necessary. Calls patients from waiting area back to exam/procedure room. Demonstrates basic knowledge of VA benefit eligibility. Independently refers eligibility and benefits questions to correct office in a timely.
• Incumbent will assist the Administrative Support Assistant with the performance of Timekeeping in VATAS to include, but not limited to, entering employee work tours, accurately and timely posting annual leave, sick leave, authorized absence, etc.
• Assists Physicians, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Recreational Therapists with treatments under direct supervision of a Therapist or Physician. Assists with administering clinical tests mild measures as directed by and under direct supervision of a Therapist or Physician. Assists with set up of clinical equipment as needed. This includes the unpacking of assistive devices and other equipment used by the service and/or provided to patients through the service.
• Performs basic fitting of assistive devices to patients and provides patient education the use of the equipment. Orders and monitors supply of assistive devices for all clinics under the purview of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Assists with patient groups, facilitating participation of group members and assisting with the implementation of exercise programs.

• You will manage and oversee the Government Commercial Purchase Card Program as the Level IV Agency Program Coordinator.

• Implements regulatory, treatment, and/or inspection programs in order to facilitate exports of agricultural products.
• Plans and manages the technical approach for inspections, treatments, survey/eradication programs, and quarantine applications.

Serves food cafeteria style. Breaks down and cleans area when meals are complete. Sets up dining room tables for service, places food and beverages on tables, and replenishes items as necessary.

Sets up and operates dishwashers, performs preventive maintenance and cleaning. Scrapes, soaks, scours and scrubs bowls, pots and pans.

Also performs heavy duty cleaning tasks such as ceilings, exhaust hoods, under and behind kitchen equipment, washes floors and walls, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, sanitizes garbage cans.

May unload food from delivery trucks. Collects and transfers trash from work area to disposal area. Assembles and tosses fresh fruit or green salads in quantity using prepared dressings, serves into standard serving sizes. Makes cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients. Makes coffee, tea and other beverages.Performs other related duties as assigned.
