Theobjective of the Informatics Merseyside Development Service is to develop digital solutions through collaboration and innovation. The Development Service Delivery Manager will work with a range of stake holders (both internal and external) to ensure that developments are delivered to support our partners and customers objectives. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of solutions across all partners and customers, ensuring that all development work is completed within agreed timescales to the appropriate specification, managing quality assurance and deployment. Principal Responsibilities: Manage the development lifecycle, from capturing and documenting Partner and Customer requirements (including generating proposals and organising software demonstrations), prioritising work alongside competing demands, through to the delivery and transition to business as usual support. Receive and assess complex enquiries and requests for service from IM Partner Organisations, Customers and potentially other Trusts and transition those requests into the development lifecycle as appropriate. Interpret and communicate complex and highly technical issues to non-IM&T or technical staff, both internally within IM and externally within POs and Customers. Also to be involved in SLA meetings as appropriate and negotiations with third parties. Support the creation of designs and mock-ups for new solutions. Manage small teams on quick turnaround projects to create highly interactive applications and products, which includes customer projects, core technologies and internal product development. Collaborate with the development team to identify user acceptance criteria to gain Trust sign-off of work items, and manage the quality assurance (QA) and testing of solutions to ensure that they meet the agreed criteria. Take responsibility for the testing of solutions, ensuring cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility and compliance to specified standards such as accessibility standards in the user's region or domain Manage the deployment of solutions into a production environment, supporting the definition/ implementation of, and adherence to, appropriate change control processes. Identify and document benefits delivered through development work, carrying out research where necessary to quantify achievement. Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies and author business cases and make recommendations to POs and Customers to support Innovation and the implementation of the latest technologies. Implement project management methodology to control and manage risks; issues; quality; delivery of developments on time and within budget. Providing regular highlight reports and working effectively across multiple teams. Feed into the process of internal IP development. Ensure that their own knowledge/skill set and that of the team remain up to date. Act as a role model to others showing a passion and commitment to the role and be an example of living up to the organizational values and behaviours. Provide IM&T service advice to inform IM and PO strategic business planning. Encourage the adoption of Agile approaches to solution developments. • Experience of negotiating successful outcomes with local authority agencies/other partner agencies

• Experience of managing building premises, ensuring essential servicing, repairs and maintenance are undertaken
• Good understanding of all relevant health and safety legislation. Experience of contributing towards full premises risk assessments and ensuring safe systems of work are maintained.

As an Area Care Manager, you will support the Regional Care Director by providing the highest standard of care to our customers and carers within Helping Hands. You will be overseeing the day to day running of approximately 10 branches as well as the live in care service in your locality.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead by example and be instrumental in creating excellent working relationships ensuring that Helping Hands values are delivered in a professional manner and are always maintained, with members of the team, company, and customers.
• Manage, report, and monitor performance within your branches and Live In service, always ensuring plans are put in place to improve. Report all progress being made along with agreed action plans to the Regional Care Director.
• Deliver excellent customer service standards across the area to ensure that customer and carer focus is always delivered, this will increase retention though an excellent service.
• Monitor and audit performance across your area to maintain 100% compliance across both services.
• Provide the Regional Care Director with regular performance updates from your area to include steps taken to improve areas of underperformance and areas of opportunity along with an update on the progress being made with key projects.

About You

To be successful in this role you'll need to have previous multi-site experience within the care industry. It is essential that you have significant experience of managing a large team and have good understanding of CQC/CIW guidance. You'll need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and implement change along with the ability to build effective relationships.

Technical Quality Manager

Hybrid role; working on our development sites, from our office at Liverpool Street, London and from home

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)

Typical day as Technical Quality Manager

• Driving technical design and quality of our schemes through reviewing documentation and drawings as sufficiently describing the works and meeting Building Safety requirements, providing technical sign off where required.
• Managing inspections and reporting at key build stages (including up to handover and at the end of the defect liability period), referring to plans, photographing works, taking measurements and checking materials.
• Attending pre-construction site meetings and other technical project meetings to provide technical and quality input.
• Ensuring homes are delivered on time and programme risks managed, working closely with project teams, carrying out regular reviews on contractors’ progress of works against programmes and providing advice on handover dates and program risks.
• Regular monitoring and recording of inspections by Building Control and NHBC/Warranty, tracking issues raised and ensuring they are rectified. Supporting the teams to hold contractors to account for quality, workmanship and safety on our construction sites at all times.

You have

• Experience of the full development process with a residential developer, contractor or consultant in the construction or housebuilding industry. You’ll have a good technical knowledge in identifying defects, snags and general construction quality in new homes.
• An up-to-date knowledge of regulations, codes and standards, including materials, trades, methods and legal requirements.
• Hold a relevant degree (or equivalent professional experience) alongside a professional accreditation such as RICS, CIOB, ICWCI, RIBA or equivalent or be working towards this.
• As safety is of paramount importance, a detailed understanding of Health & Safety regulations, with experience of ensuring sites and assets remain safe. You’ll hold, or be prepared to work toward, a site safety accreditation such as CSCS or equivalent.
• You’ll have a good eye for detail, be a great influencer, with a good understanding of the external environment and our place within it.

The post-holder will lead on the following broad areas:
Strategic comms (40%)

Provide strategic comms support in areas required on behalf of the partnership
overall, focussing on the messaging across and between partner organisations

Lead on public affairs and advocacy for LHP including visibility and messaging to
political party conferences, and high-level strategic visits such as mayoral and
ministerial roundtables

Lead on the development of a compelling narrative about health and life sciences
innovation in Liverpool, amplifying the activity of member organisations and

Ensure that member organisations are bought into the process, amplifying
messages where possible and augmenting the narrative to focus a pan-regional

Public affairs (20%)

Mobilise and present, in order to influence perception, opportunities and policy, the
insights available from across LHP – to regional and national stakeholders such a s
politicians, government and funding agencies

Develop and sustain high-quality professional relationships that can be mobilised in
support of the partnership including media, political and life sciences sectors

Connect LHP and its partners to the wider comms and public affairs sectors,

Supporting specific initiatives and events (15%)

Assess the requirements for internal and external contributions to comms strategies
for programmes and support links to external agencies where necessary

Convene and provide authoritative leadership within cross-discipline and crossorganisation working groups

Oversee the delivery of high-quality and high-profile events ensuring collateral and

Operational oversight (15%)

Take responsibility for the website, production of newsletters, overseeing social
media and stakeholder mapping and management

Managing and developing staff including: a small number of core team members
responsible for direct LHP work, advice, support and mentoring for staff in partner
organisations who are working on specific programmes where strategic advice is
being sought from LHP

Produce regular performance management reports to the LHP board and its partner
organisations, attending the Board when appropriate

Oversee budgets and staff associated with the delivery of LHP comms. (This may
well increase over time as the delivery model develops)
Provide leadership and example in creating the optimal culture for LHP (10%)

Provide high calibre and visible leadership to build and sustain an effective team
and to create healthy relationships across the partnership

Develop close working relationships with partner organisations and a wide range of
other multi- agency organisations

Take ownership of all areas of comms and public affairs activity, identifying and
pursuing opportunities that form a portfolio in their own right, with delegated
authority from the MD

Act as a senior representative and ambassador for LHP, locally, regionally, and
nationally
