We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our Group Legal team. This role is pivotal in providing expert legal advice and guidance on a broad spectrum of legal issues and matters, primarily to our Energy and Process Industry divisions but also to Industry Digital Solutions division and Management Consulting in the Asian region. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for supporting our Group Legal team and local management with managing complex legal matters, mitigating risks, and ensuring that our business activities comply with company policies and relevant laws and regulations. Further, you will coordinate compliance matters within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

· Legal Advisory: Provide timely and expert legal advice on complex legal matters, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them.

· Contract Management: Support bid preparations and contract negotiations, review, and draft agreements for consulting and engineering projects ensuring all contracts align with company policies and legal requirements.

· Document Review: Review release and non-reliance letters and reliance letters, ensuring they meet legal standards and protect the company’s interests and align with company policies and legal requirements.

· Legal Documentation: Draft legal memos and opinions, including comprehensive risk assessments, to provide advice for management to make informed business decisions.

· Litigation & Claims Management: Oversee litigation and claims processes, including investigations, legal assessments, client interactions, pleadings, negotiations, and settlements. Monitor claims and liaise closely with the insurance company to manage developments. Support the local

Main Duties:

The primary responsibilities of the role include

• Lead Hotel employees to ensure compliance with corporate Safety & Security standards.
• Is responsible for the discipline of the officers and being overall in charge of the security operations of the Safety & Security department.
• Takes a lead role in emergencies.
• When present at the scene of any medical emergency, acts as a first responder, and assesses and renders appropriate first aid and/or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, rescue breathing, Heimlich maneuver, or other life-saving technique, and if necessary and prudent, requests the dispatch of additional Emergency Services personnel, such as paramedics.
• Is responsible for overseeing the activities of the department.
• Is responsible for planning and carrying out the plan for security at special events or for V.I.P.s.
• Is overall responsible for investigation of all incidents.

Administration

• Is responsible for designing and implementing a strategic plan for the Safety & Security department, every year.
• Conducts weekly, documented inspections of the hotel listing any safety or security infractions and ensuring these are corrected by the time of the next walkthrough.
• Ensures that all activities on shift- Daily Log, Daily Roster,  overnight checklists, incident reports and any other documents are completed correctly- if not takes action to ensure compliance.
• Is responsible for interviewing and selecting candidates for all Safety & Security positions- with the provision that candidates for leadership positions are approved by Hotel Management.

Customer Service

• To handle and resolve all guest queries and complaints in an efficient manner and to establish an amicable relationship with all clients, customers and guests of the Hotel.
• Provide effective support to the team to enable them to deliver effective and efficient services to the guests.
• Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Financial

• To support the financial objectives of the hotel through proper and efficient management.
• To prepare the overall Security budget and ensure that budget allocated is used wisely.
• To ensure that the Department’s operational budget is strictly adhered to, that all costs are controlled and expenditures are properly approved.
• To ensure that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations related to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
• To prevent losses and ensure that departmental expenditure is always under control.

Operational

• Is able to brief senior Hotel leaders on any assigned special tasks, projects or surveys conducted.
• Is able to form and maintain productive relationships with outside parties- Local Police, ACP & DCP Office, Fire Brigade and Foreign country Embassies.
• Takes an active part in security organizations and attends meetings, at which he actively contributes.

The Digital PR Manager is responsible for devising and executing online public relations strategies across multiple global hospitality brands including Minor Hotels, Anantara and Avani.

The successful applicant will plan and publish content across multiple channels including blogs, social media posts, press releases etc. The role also requires the deployment of digital tools to manage global media outreach strategies and database segmentation, as well as monitoring and analysing data from various points such as web traffic, social media engagement and press coverage to refine strategies, track KPIs and report on campaign success.

To be successful in this role, the right candidate should ideally have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads.

• Plan and maintain editorial calendars for brand blogs and other PR content, and work with hotel teams to maintain a steady flow of fresh and repurposed content.

• A law degree from a recognized institution and a certified lawyer in Thailand.
• 10+ years of work experience.
• Commercial/corporate lawyer in a global organization or top-tier firm practicing international transactions.
• International experience: studying or working period in an international institution/company in English.
• Fluent in written and spoken English & Thai.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
