As a Assistant Vice President for Technology in Cash Management team, you will partner with business, technology managers and Risk and Control team to create and maintain the application stack and execute strategical programs. You’ll be an integral part of the bank’s infrastructure, guiding the Corporate Bank Technology team through the engineering practices. Your key responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
- Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organisational units.
- Collaborate and communicate openly; pairing with colleagues to write software and solve problems.
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to elicit requirements and ensure that the software delivered is fit for purpose.
- Technical analysis, solution design, developing, unit testing, code review, architecture and API documentation.
- Engage with QA to prepare infrastructure for integration and load testing activities.
- Deployment of the solution for SIT, UAT testing activities and for demonstration session to business stakeholders.
- Production SL3 support.
- Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience working with ITX/ WTX technology as an engineer.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with PL/SQL.
- L3 support experience and exposure with conflict handling and Release management
- Developing and implementing technical solutions
- Develop testing strategies for efficient and error-free testing.
- Deploy the ITX systems in UNIX and LINUX
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Programming & Systems Analysis or Science (Computer Studies)
- Analyze and gather requirements and new implementations and change requests.
- Collaborating with business analysts and business partners
- Stakeholder management and Prioritization
- Git knowledge
- Ability to develop a functional approach.
