As a Defects Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering a reliable defects rectification service. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for internal and external customers, collaborating with developers to resolve defect issues in accordance with contractual requirements and performance standards.

As a defects coordinator, you’ll act as the first point of contact for customers, providing first-class customer service while resolving defects in their new homes. You’ll collaborate closely with our development team and other internal departments to share information quickly and efficiently.

Your role will involve conducting basic defect diagnosis, seeking technical assistance when necessary, and performing site visits to gather further details. You’ll coordinate end-of-defects inspections, manage paperwork, and work with external stakeholders to ensure defect resolution is completed promptly. Additionally, you’ll gather and report data to support service delivery and assist the aftercare manager, while also participating in projects aimed at enhancing systems and processes for continuous improvement

We’re looking for an executive support manager to support our chief customer office and their senior leadership team to deliver an exciting and ambitious programme of work that will transform customer experience and enable customers to thrive. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer you’ll manage the programme office and support the delivery of projects.

You will be driven, adaptable and passionate about customers and housing, and focussed on making a difference. Adept at working with senior leaders, you’ll be comfortable working in the detail, and managing a diverse and fast paced workload.

This role is permanent and full time. You can be based from any of our main offices in Wolverhampton, Tewskesbury, Lichfield or Chipping Sodbury with travel across these offices on a regular basis. A basic DBS check is required.

You will have:

• Exceptional organisational skills and will be an articulate communicator, who is able to deliver messages and influence colleagues across a wide audience.

As part of our service delivery team, you’ll be there for our customers whenever they need you. The main aspect of the role will be installing a wide variety of boilers and heating systems from, combination boilers to full heating systems to meet our customer’s needs and completing all relevant safety checks. You will ensure that all our properties and our customers receive the highest levels of service. You will also be working on air sourced heat pumps (training will be provided).

You will be replacing Central Heating boilers and Heating Systems. You will complete all relevant safety checks and provide electronic gas certification upon completion of the job. You may work alone, or paired with a second Gas Installer, to complete our Gas Installation Program, within budget and timescales.

You will be provided with the associated battery-powered tools to complete your tasks, and be provided with a Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser, to comply with Gas Safe Regulations.

This is a mobile role covering Gloucestershire region. the Cotswolds and other areas as requested to suit programme of works.

Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS check will be completed for the successful applicant.

The ideal candidate will hold the following:

• CCN1: ACS Gas Safe - Core Gas Safety Certificate or Equivalent
• CENWAT: Domestic Gas Fired Central Heating / Hot Water Boiler & Circulators, 70KW and Instantaneous Water Heating Appliances
• CKR1: ACS Gas Safe - Cookers and Hobs
• HTR1: ACS Gas Safe - Gas Fires
• Unvented Systems, advantageous but not essential
• OFTEC and Air Source/ Ground Source, would be beneficial. If not held, be prepared to train to obtain qualifications
• Full, clean driving licence.

Your previous experience may be in roles such as heating engineer, gas engineer, gas heating engineer, plumbing and heating engineer.
