What you will do on the AAA Team:

Tire & Lube Technicians:

• Perform the following repairs/maintenance tasks: oil changes, fluid flush and replacement, visual vehicle inspection, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.

• Mount, balance, and install tires. Maintain knowledge of general automotive skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.

Automotive Repair Technicians/Mechanics:

• Accurately perform maintenance and automotive repairs/diagnosis for engine repair, automatic/manual transmissions, suspension/ steering, brakes, ABS/traction control, electrical, and heating/AC.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.

What you need to succeed:

• Automotive Repair Technicians: Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and provide technical guidance through previous experience as an Automotive Technician

• Automotive Repair Technicians: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications (or ability to obtain in 12 months - paid for by AAA) or car dealer certifications

What our Automotive Service Advisors do:

• Greet customers, answer telephone calls and schedule appointments in a prompt and courteous manner. 

• Review repairs and services with customers to ensure a complete understanding of the services performed.  Contact customer any time there is a deviation from the original estimate of cost or time when the vehicle will be ready for pickup.  Note the name and time of approval for all repair/service orders and any additional costs.

• Distribute work to all shop technicians while monitoring progress and accuracy of each job.  Supply information on request to technicians, as needed.  Arrange for repairs and payment for vehicles that are covered by extended warranty programs.

• Arrange towing and/or alternate transportation such as shuttle or rental vehicle when necessary in accordance with Total Repair Care (TRC) standards.

• Monitor inspection dates of vehicles in system to ensure the inspections are completed before due dates.  Notify customer of need to have vehicle serviced per manufactures recommended intervals and as required by the state and explain the information to the customer.

What you will need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Three years’ experience in the automotive industry preferred, or three years relevant experience in a fast paced environment with a proven Sales and Customer Satisfaction record.

• Knowledge of automotive technology and the ability to communicate same information to the support team, customers and Auto Technicians. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Service Advisor Certification is desired.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, five (5) years driving experience with an excellent record and the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions on passenger vehicles and light duty trucks.

AAA is hiring for an Electric Vehicle Program Manager to join our team! The Electric Vehicle (EV) Program Manager acts as an essential member of the Innovation team to explore, test, and evaluate ACA’s EV landscape and provide EV solutions to ACA members and EV owners.

What You'll Do:

• Works with ACA Innovation team to explore test and evaluate new EV related solutions for consumers and owns the scaling process for efforts that demonstrate promise
• Leads the EV stakeholder group across AAA Club Alliance
• Works with ACA Content, Brand and Publications to create, secure and recommend consumer facing content that positions ACA as an expert in the EV field
• Provides educational materials to ACA Associates in an effort to help them stay abreast of how EVs will impact all aspects of ACA’s business
• Collaborates with new business development to identify where EV solutions intersect with other emerging and adjacent spaces for ACA
• Fosters/establishes inter-Club best practice sharing on the advancement of EV activity  
• Prepares/produces quarterly market analysis to report on trends in the EV space impacting AAA business
• Manages the successful research, development and deployment of EV programs that support ACA’s EV strategy   
• Responsible for managing cost, schedule, success measures and overall progress of EV programs, creating monthly reports detailing results
• Reviews and influence bids/proposals for major opportunities to ensure proposed solutions meet requirements for feasibility of implementation and profitability
• Performs risk/issue assessment, tracking, resolution and escalation to ensure new programs progress according to plan
• Represents Club in negotiations to achieve contracts that minimize contractual risk
• Develops, maintains and manages mutually beneficial business relationships with ACA EV stakeholders including collaborating with business units such as insurance and car care to ensure a cohesive execution of ACA’s EV strategy
• Collaborates with senior level business and technical resources to ensure that the strategy, planning and delivery approach achieves the desired end result.
• Synthesizes complex or diverse information; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data; designs work flows and procedures in conjunction with stakeholders.
• Develops annual budgets for programs and on a continuous basis, analyzes budget and technical reports; interprets and evaluates staff reports; observes performance and provides feedback to management; solves division related issues; keeps abreast of laws, regulations and codes; explains and interprets policy.
• Implements programs that meet the needs of the business line.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Program Management or like field
• 5+ years’ applicable experience
• 3+ years of product development or program management experience preferably in the automotive engineering industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of automotive engineering and program/product ecosystem specific to EVs
• Demonstrated program management skills with excellent problem solving abilities & a track record of exceeding program targets
• Demonstrates bias toward action with an ability to build consensus, generate support and influence decision-making 
• Comfortable with ambiguity and leans into a test and learn environment
• Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently, as well as, in a team setting
• Ability to use independent judgment and work in a challenging business environment with significant unknowns
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate technical processes to non-technical people
• Excellent presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work across a variety of departments, as well as interface with technologies and clients
• Strong relationship management, collaborating and influencing skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to comprehend and explain financial data
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and business line technologies including MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessitated by business and/or weather conditions.
