• Protects property and equipment against trespass, theft, fire, and accidental or willful damage and destruction.
• Conducts periodic established foot (interior/perimeter) and vehicle (parking lots/facility access roads) patrols to detect physical security breaches and trespassing, to include checking and/or securing sensitive areas.

This position is located in an operating office (Office) within a bureau or bureau equivalent office (Bureau) within the Department of the Interior (Department). This position serves as an engineer providing civil engineering expertise for a variety of projects and activities throughout the Office which typically include combinations of complex features. Work can include design. studies. analyses. construction administration, documentation, inspections, assessments, investigations, reviews, cost estimating. specifications writing, compliance evaluations, and evaluating facility capacities and operations. As a General Engineer/ Physical Scientist (Nuclear Safety Specialist) you will:

• Lead safety planning, organization, and DOE/NNSA regulatory compliance review.
• Advocate and secure NNSA and M&O commitment to Safety Strategies.
• Resolve emerging operational safety issues preventing long-term facility and program adverse safety impact.

This Lead Transportation Security Officer position is located at John Wayne Airport (SNA), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO), you will be responsible for leading at least three full-performance level Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) and, as assigned, trainee and apprentice level TSOs. Salary Information: The salary range for DeWitt, MI (LAN - Capital Region International Airport) is $39,576 to $55,231 or $18.96 to $26.46 per hour and includes locality pay of 16.82%.

This Transportation Security Officer position is located in Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSOs) within Security Operations (SO), you will provide security and protection of air travelers, airports and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner.
