The Nest Project aims to enhance survivor safety and reduce incidents of domestic abuse through awareness and service provision. The Floating Support Worker (FSW) supports survivors of domestic abuse living in safe accommodation at any risk level on a needs-led basis.

As an FSW, you will conduct risk and needs assessments, safety planning, and support planning with survivors. You will advocate on their behalf with external agencies and provide ongoing casework support, including referrals to specialist advice and practical support. You will also support survivors in maintaining or finding permanent housing as needed.

What does the role involve?

Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care. Dearne Valley Dialysis Unit operates 12 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 48 patients, in partnership with Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio of 1:4 patients.

This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts Monday to Saturday between 6.30am to 6.00pm.

You will be joining the Evening element of one of our dynamic and supportive Neighbourhood Teams to provide a 24-hour admission avoidance service to the population of Worcestershire which encompasses both urban and rural areas. The successful candidate will deliver independently a high standard of nursing care for patients in their own homes. Ensuring that care provided maintains the individuals privacy and dignity, values diversity and respects cultural and individual rights and choices. We are looking for candidates with good communication skills, a flexible approach and enthusiasm to work within the team. You should be a committed, highly motivated and forward-thinking individual who is a good team player. The successful candidate will also assist the team to develop and achieve team and organizational objectives. They will also participate in staff meetings and training & development activities as necessary to ensure their skills and knowledge are up to date. Due to the nature of the post the applicant must be able to travel independently and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. Whilst a base will be identified, staff can be asked to work anywhere within the Business Unit or Service if necessary.
