CLASS DESCRIPTION

A Utilities Installer and Repairer Supervisor II, through subordinate supervisors, directs the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of the water distribution and wastewater collection and sanitary systems. Work of this class involves directing the activities of utility maintenance, equipment operation and laborer work units.

Incumbents receive general supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a five day workweek including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis, and are subject to 24-hour call-back on a rotating basis and as required for emergencies or held over until properly relieved or for emergencies. Work is performed outdoors where incumbents are exposed to traffic and inclement weather. Work requires moderate physical exertion including bending, stooping, crawling, reaching and pushing and pulling of heavy objects and may include periods of prolonged walking and/or standing.

EXPERIENCE: Have 4 years of experience in the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of a water distribution or storm water and waste water collection system including two years of such supervisory responsibilities as disciplining, evaluating the performance of and recommending the hiring, firing and promoting of others.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATES: Have a valid Maryland Class C Non-Commercial driver’s license or an equivalent driver’s license and eligible to obtain a Baltimore City driver’s permit.

Some positions in this class may be required to possess a valid Maryland Class B Commercial driver's license, or an equivalent out-of-state driver's license acceptable to the Office of Risk Management.

All employees may be required to obtain within six months of hire, and maintain, a certificate indicating that they have successfully completed the Temporary Traffic Control Manager’s training course in accordance with the specifications of the Maryland State Highway Administration of the Department of Transportation.

Employees hired or promoted into this classification after March 1, 2015, will be required as a condition of employment:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate professional for a Senior Cloud Security wants to design and implement security solutions for systems and services in AWS and Azure. • Lead focused and continuous cyber security risk assessments of new and existing technologies to identify risks, and appropriate controls that balance security and operability

• Provide effective and pragmatic cyber security guidance up-front in major technology projects, to enable the business to innovate securely

• Assist in investigation and remediation of security incidents and issues

• Be the cloud security subject matter expert for our Cloud Engineering group and its partners in any IaaS/ PaaS and SaaS implementations.

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities in cloud environments and formulate strategies to mitigate these risks

Key Role:

Function as a System Certification Specialist and Security Control Assessor as part of a team in the performance of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities ensuring National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) management, operation, technical, and privacy security control implementation compliance for large, complex DoD information systems. • 7+ years of experience with providing security guidance and IS validation using NIST, RMF, DoD, and local security policies

• Experience with planning and executing comprehensive Cybersecurity test events, including identifying applicable security controls, analyzing assessment procedures, and identification and using required tools, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) or Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)

• Experience with providing configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware and coordinating changes and modifications as an ISSO, ISSM, or Security Control Assessor (SCA)

• Experience in interfacing with information assurance managers, including preparing and reviewing documentation, such as Systems Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms)

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with guiding a client through the entire Risk Management Framework (RMF) process

Job Description:

Responds, controls and oversees calls for assistance and alarms taking action and interventions to mitigate situations and to reduce injury, prevent property damage or loss. Patrols, assesses and secures organization’s properties and provides escorts and education to internal customers. Enforces criminal ordinances and administrative policies partnering with law enforcement and other community partners.

Principle Responsibilities

• Responds to security emergencies.
  • Responds, controls and oversees calls for assistance and alarms.
  • Takes action(s) and intervenes per procedure and protocols to mitigate the situations and to reduce injury, prevent property damage or loss.
  • Investigates calls for services and prepares written reports.
• Patrols, assesses and secures organization’s properties.
  • Identifies, evaluates and escalates threats and risks to ensure the safety and security of people and property.
  • Patrols and provides escorts at company facilities and campuses.
  • Monitors critical building security systems such as cameras, alarms, access control and weapons detection screening systems.
  • Maintains and properly operates equipment including radio, emergency vehicle and TASER.
• Under the direction of or absence of a supervisor acts as the shift lead.
  • Prioritizes assignments with available resources.
  • Oversees operations in the absence of a supervisor.
  • Participates and may lead projects and programs.
  • May participate in hiring, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Enforces criminal ordinances and administrative policies.
  • Makes citizen arrests per policy.
  • Partners with law enforcement.
  • Cites non-compliance related to administrative policies such as smoking, parking and regulatory related to safety and security.
• Serves as a department liaison to internal partners, community partners and other customers.
  • Partners with internal customers to identify risk and safety concerns.
  • Provides education to internal customers to mitigate personal safety in and out of the workplace.
  • Serves on organizational regulatory and security committees.

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years experience in security, emergency services, criminal justice or health care related
• 2 to 5 years experience in verbal and physical de-escalation, use of force, arrest laws

Licenses/Certifications

• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required American Heart Association or Allina within 60 Days
• Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment as may require travel occasionally from site to site
• International Association for Hospital Safety and Security (IAHSS) preferred
• OSHA First Responder preferred
• Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) preferred
